About me
👋 Hello! I’m Zachary, a storyteller, game designer, and programmer with nearly a decade of experience running narrative-driven tabletop RPGs. My greatest passion lies in games that blur the line between humanity and the supernatural. These are stories where emotion, choice, and consequence carry as much weight as dice rolls. I specialize in the Chronicles of Darkness and other d10 dice pool systems, using platforms like Foundry VTT and Discord 🎠At my table, my player's story drives the world. Your chanter's backstory, choices, and ambition matter. In my game's expect cinematic roleplay, emotional stakes, and collaborative storytelling where rules serve the story we weave, not the other way around. Beyond the table, I create under the name SpiritualSalt

Creating your character
Character Level & Starting Wealth: Player characters begin at Level 3 with 3,000 gp to spend on starting gear. This should give you enough resources to enter an ongoing campaign comfortably equipped. Remember, spend wisely; balanced loadouts tend to fare best in Pathfinder 1e Ability Scores: We use the standard 20-point buy from Pathfinder 1e. As normal, you can apply racial modifiers after assigning your points Allowed Sources: Only official Pathfinder 1e (Paizo) materials are permitted for this campaign; examples include: Core Rulebook, Advanced Player’s Guide, and other Paizo-published supplements Alignment & Party Fit: As a standard, all characters must be able to work cooperatively with the rest of the party. As such, Chaotic Evil characters will not be allowed. Right now, the party includes a neutral good human fighter, a neutral good half-elf sorcerer, and a chaotic good human bard Backstory Requirements: For the premise of this campaign to work, each character must have a personal connection to Korvosa. Your backstory should make you care about what happens to Korvosa and give the story threads I can pull into the main plot. Your backstory WILL matter; I will not discard it and will be sure to keep it relevant to the game Session 0: When you are available, we’ll schedule a one-on-one Session 0 to create and finalize your character, discuss backstory integration, and introduce you to the campaign. The current players in the party may join us for this session 0 if you’d like their characters involved in your introduction Tools & Platform: Character creation and gameplay take place in Fantasy Grounds
If you'd like to player a healer or rogue class, that would be a big help to the rest of your party. They will appreciate you
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To get ready for the game: Join the Discord. This platform will be our hub for scheduling, updates, and campaign materials. We will also use Discord for voice chat Install Fantasy Grounds. Install the free player facing demo of the platform on the official website here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/ Review the Player Resources. Check the pinned Discord posts for the Crimson Throne Player's Guide, Pathfinder 1e resources, and character creation details Bring a Concept. This should be a brief idea of who your character is, their tie to Korvosa, and what drives them Once you’ve joined, I’ll share the Fantasy Grounds link so we can build characters and begin the adventure together
What Zachary brings to the table
For this campaign as your Game Master, I will focus on creating an immersive, character-driven experience set in the dark, intrigue-filled streets of Korvosa. As someone who generally prefers the open, sand box style of play, I will ensure your every decision will have an impact on this world. Expect theater-of-the-mind storytelling, NPC voices, and handouts that bring Korvosa to life I’m a laid-back but attentive GM—rules are important, but story and player agency come first. If you are new know that I will guide you through Pathfinder 1e, maintain clear communication, and foster a supportive, engaging table atmosphere. My goal: to ensure everyone finds drama, danger, and unforgettable moments as Korvosa’s destiny unfolds I would also like to let you know that the money that goes into each session will be reinvested back into the game. I will commission my artist, Morai C, to create art for each of my player's characters (Morai is the one who drew the thumbnail above)

Safety
How Zachary creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are my top priorities because with them our table should facilitate good vibes. When we hold our Session 0 we’ll talk openly about boundaries, expectations, and tone to make sure you and everyone else can feel secure and supported during play I’ll also ask you to provide me with your person a lines and veils; these tools define which themes or topics should be avoided entirely (Lines) and which can appear only off-screen or implied (Veils) Here is the tables current agreement: Player Ettiquete No chewing in mic Talk to GM or other players if there is a problem Communicate tardiness in advance of a session No PVP Lines (Things that cannot be done and will not be in game whatsoever) Rape Veils (Things that exist but are fade to black or with no detail) Sex Torture
