Creating your character
Character creation for this adventure typically follows the rules outlined in the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Player's Handbook. Players create their characters using the standard character creation process, including selecting a race, class, background, ability scores, and equipment. Characters will be created during a session zero where the Dungeon Master and players come together to discuss character concepts and create their heroes as a group.
The expedition was supposed to uncover the secrets of Argonnessen. Now the party is trapped somewhere worse. The Veil Below is a fractured reflection of the world: an ethereal warfront where ruined fortresses drift in dead air, ghost roads twist between battlefields, and fiends move through prophecy like knives through cloth. The Lords of Dust are active. Khyber is bleeding through the cracks. Something ancient watches from behind the rift, waiting for the right mistake. This is a mid-campaign opening for a player who wants to join an ongoing, story-heavy D&D 5.5e adventure at level 11. The party is already deep in the danger. You will enter with history behind you, enemies ahead of you, and immediate reasons to matter. Expect grim fantasy, cinematic combat, hard choices, and high-stakes exploration. This is not a clean heroic march. It is survival, corruption, bargains, ancient dragons, fiendish politics, and desperate victories bought at a cost. You do not need to know every piece of Eberron lore. I will help you build a character who fits the current arc and feels connected from the first session. You could be a stranded survivor, a prisoner escaped from the fiends, an agent of a dragon faction, a cursed scholar, a monster hunter, a warforged relic-seeker, a holy warrior, a scoundrel with the wrong debt, or someone the prophecy dragged here against their will. The current party needs allies. The Veil Below needs witnesses. And something beneath the world has learned their names.

A mic is required. A solid internet connection can really help as well. Discord and Roll20 will be used for much of the virtual table top needs. Including rolls If your new and would like to prepare I can supply you with the needed materials.
