About the adventure
Step beyond the mists into Legends of Barovia, an expanded Curse of Strahd campaign that reshapes Ravenloft with lost legends, darker lore, and tragic secrets long buried. Drawing from classic Ravenloft myth, real-world history, and original storytelling, this is Barovia as you’ve never survived it before. The collaborative storytelling process of DnD is what I'm here for, and being able to provide a fun experience for everyone at my table is what drives my passion. I like to run my games according to the group. If its a lot of stabby people then we can have more hack and slash combats and dungeon crawling. If the group is more diplomatic then we can have a lot more social npc interactions. Every table is different so I try to accommodate as best as possible. I try to have maps, music and sound effects for most situations, but some sessions may have a bit of theatre of the mind. As for homebrew character stuff, I don't go too crazy with it but a small change here and there can be made if need be.

About me
I, like many others, started my DnD journey during the Pandemic. I immediately fell in love with the game. I jumped in with both feet becoming a DM for a local group within the first 3 months of starting as a player. I have a passion for storytelling and really want to bring my games to others and being able to make money from such a passion is really a dream for me. I want to do my best to provide an amazing experience to everyone, at a fair price, and make the story and adventure and your character's story the forefront of the experience! Creating your character
Charactes will start at level 1, Stat generation will be via standard array or point buy. All official classes and races are allowed. Homebrew only with DM p Approval
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcam, mic and a computer that can run foundry vtt are the tech requirements. We will use digital dice and sheets will be made in dndbeyond. If your able to read the PHB beforehand that'd be great but if not able no worries.
What Jason brings to the table
I will provide the setting, I own all official content on dndbeyond and can share with my players. I utilize a fair bit of 3rd party content including maps, handouts and extra quests.
Homebrew rules
Table rules: It's a bonus action to take a healing potion or to feed one to a downed creature (like in 2024 rules) but you can also use a full action to take full healing from it. Hidden initiative: until a creature's turn in initiative, it will be hidden from everyone else. Hidden death saves so only the dm (me) knows what you rolled on a death save. Critical hits will be max dice plus the Roll and modifier Inspiration, you can use your inspiration after you have rolled to give yourself advantage on the roll, unless it was a critical fail.
