About the adventure

Pokemon! of the Apocalypse is a pokemon mystery dungeon inspired adaptation of the Princes of the Apocalypse module. Choose a pokemon to play as while you and your rag-tag group of pokemon buddies attempt to save the world from an evil elemental cult growing in power in the local region, and maybe gain some power for yourself depending on where the winds blow!

About me

Hiya! My name is Vulpes (They/it), and I've been dm-ing for over 3 years now! I saw an opportunity to bring more people into what I love doing the most and took it! I encourage twisting characters into the stories, and I am all about opportunities for players! I am LGBTQIA+ friendly as well, and always ready for D&D!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen over discord, as there are many steps to making a pokemon into a dnd character!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a free account on dndbeyond, discord, and roll20, the beyond20 extension, and a patience to figure things out as we go!

What Vulpes brings to the table

I bring a unique experience, ambient music and sounds, and a fun take on an old module! I tend to stick to rule of cool within reason, but i'm also open to modifying things to make sure you get to play just the character you want!

Homebrew rules

Table Rules: - Health potions are bonus action, but taking an action for it gives you the maximum - You can give someone your inspiration if you wish - I use both new and old inspiration rules, so you can use it as a reroll, or an advantage, but an advantage given inspiration will not count for things like granting a sneak attack. - Flanking grants advantage - When you begin rolling death saves for the first time during a combat, nothing happens, but each subsequent time you are downed in one combat, you begin death saves with one additional fail, immediately dying on the fourth time you are downed. This resets every roll of initiative, or by greater restoration - A natural 1 on a saving throw against a spell/damage is considered a crit, and you take double damage. - We are using OLD STEALTH, stealthing does not turn you invisible. - At my games, I know its run differently, but if you take 1.5x your HP's worth in one go, that is an immediate death.
