About the adventure
Want to learn this new system but have no idea how to go about it? Join up and learn from an experienced GM. Our adventure will be designed to try out as many mechanics as possible to give you the best possible intro to learn the system. We'll do combat, roleplay, exploration, and more. The adventure itself will use the 'Witherwild' campaign frame, which can be found in the Daggerheart rulebook. Below is the description of the campaign frame: Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace— dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you’ll play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewick’s people from dangerous corruption. This campaign frame is described as Adventurous, Dynamic, Epic, Heroic, Thrilling, Uncanny, Whimsical. This setting draws inspiration from media such as Princess Mononoke, The Legend of Zelda, The Dark Crystal, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Creating your character
Characters will be created together during session 0 so we can create connections. I will provide a link to join my group on Demiplane so you get access to the core rulebook.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Read the rules for Daggerheart. We will use Discord, Roll 20, and Demiplane. Create accounts for these. Please have a functioning microphone. Webcam optional.
What Graham Day brings to the table
I have strong improv skills and will work with you to involve your character in the narrative. I make sure you feel like a hero in the story and create a collaborative story with you. I have extensive experience of running tabletop games in both long campaigns as well as one shots. I'll bring that experience to your game to make sure you have a great experience. My games are suitable for all ages, which means you can expect a thrilling and fun game for everyone to enjoy. Expect a tone similar to Lord of the Rings, or a Marvel movie. I get fully invested into playing characters. I make sure every character is diverse and can be easily identified from each other. I am a proud advocate for neurodiverse and LGBT+ people. This is a safe space for everyone.

How Graham Day creates a safe table
If we're doing a campaign, we'll do a session 0 to go over everything and ensure we're all happy with the potential content involved in the game. If a one shot, you can message me beforehand to make me aware of anything important. If anything happens during the session that makes you uncomfortable, speak up or send me a private message and I'll sort it out straight away. We will take a break halfway through the session at a suitable moment. After the session we'll go over your Stars and Wishes to get positive/constructive feedback.
