About the adventure
I intend this game to be friendly and welcoming for players completely new to the cosmere system, or the cosmere setting. I will be patient and informative and help the players with any information they may be confused about or need, that being said things might go a bit slower sometimes. Experienced players are still welcome as long as you have the patience to play with the new people. This campaign takes place during book 2 of the source material, be wary of spoilers if you care. The campaign is a heroic adventure that is kind of on the rails, so being non-heroic or trying to explore everywhere won't work so well. The campaign has a nice mix of different encounter types and their should be at least one combat encounter each session. Their is many great opportunities for role play but if thats not your thing the cosmere rpg has mechanics so you can contribute to conversations without having to RP. About me
Hello! My name is Kai and I LOVE ttrpgs and writing. Lately I have been focusing on the new Cosmere RPG system but have a interest in many more systems. Ive been playing D&D since my grandpa taught me when i was 8, so that's 20 years now! Ive run many shorter campaigns and one-shots. I have also ran a couple longer ones throughout the years. My longest lasted for 3 years and was a hex-crawl through a homebrew new continent in 5e. I am well versed in running combat heavy crunchy games as well as RP heavy loosey goosey games and thoroughly enjoy both play styles or a mix of the two. Overall, I just have a thorough love of ttrpgs and the bonds you can form and the stories you can tell through them, no matter the playstyle. As for myself, Im a avid reader of fiction books and spend most of my time playing ttrpgs, working, writing my own projects, or reading books. Ask me about my favorite authors and novels and Ill tell you all about them!

Creating your character
Their will be a session zero where we will go over characters and create any for anyone who has not yet, but you are welcome to create your level 1 character in whatever format you like and then transfer it to fantasy grounds VTT in session zero. Level 1 start, you can use the pregens if you like.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord is a must, I will keep track of the game and get in voice on discord for the game. I plan to play on Fantasy grounds VTT but no purchase is required from the players just a download.
What Kai brings to the table
I try character voices but they are far from professional. Ambient music I turn on and leave running but is not dynamic. I like to stick to by the book rules with a few exceptions for cool factor every now and again. I try to be absolutely fair in combat and that can make for some tough combats If you don't think about it, but for this campaign I may make the combats easier for newer players. I love RP and will encourage RP between players, and between npcs and players. Im kind and benevolent and mostly just want the players to have a blast, so if you get a cool idea and its not against the rules Ill work with you.

How Kai creates a safe table
I will ask all of you for any lines and veils in session zero whether to openly say them or DM me will be up to you, of course they can always be added to latter. Open door policy, if something is wrong talk to me and Ill make sure the issue is addressed, or if you don't want to talk about it no explanation is required if you want to leave at any time, no hard feelings, comfort comes first.
