About the adventure

We are going to try out Invincible! - the new new superhero game, from Free League, the makers of Dragonbane, Alien, the One Ring, Blade Runner... all sorts of great games. This superhero game is sent in the universe of Invincible, the comic book and tv show. You are superheroes relatively new on the scene, answering a call from the Global Defense Agency – a secret organization that safeguards the world from the shadows and keeps a close watch over all superpowered activity. You’ve all had some level of contact with the GDA during your early superhero careers, but you haven’t spent much time in their secret headquarters … until today. You've been summoned by Cecil Stedman, the elusive Director of the GDA, because he says the world needs your help in light of the catastrophic destruction caused by the recent battle between two of the world’s most powerful superheroes – Omni-Man and Invincible. "Thanks for coming. I’ll get right to the point – with Omni-Man’s rampage and the original Guardians being dead, the world’s running short on heroes. Robot is getting the new Guardians team off the ground, and Monster Girl and Rex Splode are here too. The rest of the team is tied up with another mission, so that’s where you come in, Atom Eve and Bulletproof. I just left a situation report that needs immediate attention. Two weeks ago, the Mauler Twins were somehow sprung again from Stronghold Penitentiary. For those of you who haven’t tangled with them before, the Maulers aren’t actually twins – they’re a long series of clones, and neither of them knows which one is the original. They’re a big enough physical threat, but they’re even more dangerous because of how smart they are. We just got word they’ve set up shop in an old warehouse on the outskirts of the city. I need you to go check it out and report back on what you find. Thanks again for the help…now go be heroes."

About me

I've been running roleplaying games since 1980. I'm new-ish to hosting games on-line, but what I may lack in technical expertise on the platform I hope to make up for in enthusiasm and making it fun for you! I play "rule of cool" and I look forward to roleplay with you!

Character creation

Creating your character

I will provide a choice of pre-generated characters from the quick-start guide. There are all written up on the Foundry Virtual TableTop

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you need is a Discord account. We'll use the Foundry VTT (free for players) for which there is a link on my discord server.

What Swords and Sorcery brings to the table

I'll provide a fun setting, character voices, images of characters and scenes, and a great time! Together we'll try out this new game, have a wild combat, and everyone gets to do a "social scene" with their character as well!
