About the adventure
A lancer sandbox for beginners and veterans alike, boot up your comp/con, and strap in. On the Outer Rim far from the inner sphere politics lies a Union backed organization promising new lands and a new life, for colonists willing to make the jump. SEED. Your families have been on Dacarro II for the last 30 years setting up towns, water treatment facilities, underwater hydroelectric generators and terraforming networks to support the farms. 20 years ago this barren desert had little of value beyond rare metals, and fuel. Now a days Dacarro II supports most of the Procyon Sectors food supply only rivaled by the Union operated dyson sphere ring colony Ristrova Station. With tensions between Karakkis and Union settled republican houses have begun seeking to terraform various unclaimed planets. Whether you're a Karakkin Deserter, run away slave, outlaw trying to live down their past lives or good spirited hard working folk of the outterim you've found yourself amongst SEED's retinue on Dacarro II. The settlements have been plagued by beasts of the outlands, pirates, and the odd corporation trying to throw their money and power around. The Crown Jewel of Dacarro II is Zeradias, a manufacturing hub, home to SEEDs main research facility Z01. Then theres the farming settlements of Wold, Ortus & Kertz responsible for hydroelectric and geothermal power production, farming, and housing of SEED members. The fires of Wold and Kertz burn brightly as a pirate faction that long ago brokered deals with your grandparents generations ago broke their long held truce. The NEW DAWN left the two settlements in ruin and now, what remains of the SEED Defense Force, are all that stands between the lawlessness of the outer rim and the SEED colonists. Worse yet, a strange mech with unidentifiable systems accompanied by a similarly strange starship was spotted in Kertz and Wold during the NEW DAWN raids. How will you leave you mark on the Procyon System? Overall to generalize the gameplay loop goes as follows I assign the protagonists a task or follow up on their prior pursued tasks, introducing complications as narratively required. This is a tactical wargame with a narrative leaning, your characters can establish factions, abandon SEED, and even abandon missions via map edges with the escape quick action. Factions will crumble without the protagonists support. During narrative downtime, roleplaying can be the highlight, or we can simply get your down time activities out the way and decide if you'll await orders or the next crisis. Allied NPC's can grow alongside the players and gain additional tags or change classes based on survival of deployment and downtime spent training them. Your NHP's can pilot additional mechs you have in your hangar and you can deploy with an equal amount of mechs as you a player have a protagonist + NHP companions. Threats will be grandiose in nature, and the heroes of this tale, are larger than life.

About me
I've been running games since winter of 2019, Starfinder(with Pathfinder 1e and D&D 3.5 conversion allowed), Cyberpunk Red, Vampire the Requiem 2e, Lancer, Fallout 2d20, Mothership RPG. As a host I and my colleagues run a discord server to host various game information from scheduling updates, to character death recaps in hall of the dead, use soundboards for joke or even just keeping up with the various groups and their happenings. I've had a lot of experience running ttrpgs from a virtual play space. Within the server resides a small artist collective that from time to time will take the time to draw your characters and impromptu games. I'm homerule/homebrew friendly. I like to get to know my players and their characters, and help foster a healthy communication environment on or off the table. Be it an 18+ only environ or a PG13 table. I operate within EST, I'm a freelancer with a lot of time on my hands. So much so in the past 5 years my communities had an ongoing Starfinder game with characters up to level 15 at the point I'm writing this that has closed. In my cyberpunk red campaign my hall of the dead has multiple characters with anywhere from 3000-6000IP.

Creating your character
I handle character creation for this table pre-session 0 preferably. As I use session 0's to help flesh out your character, and solidify the world. Though I can walk you through character creation on compcon the process will add an hour to your session zero. You should be prepared to have a reference for your mech, your pilot. and a general idea of their personality and disposition. I will reward a single re-roll per session survived. All paid players start the session with one reroll. This reroll, can be donated to other players to reroll their checks/saves. Your starting license level will be decided by the current LL of the party average, halved. Or LL0 the choice is yours. You can refer to any official Lancer Content for the purposes of this campaign aswell as the any

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts Needed** Accounts Preferred* **Discord *Compcon Access to foundry via PC I have a community discord server for my hosted games that you will be allowed to stay within regardless of your continued participation as a paid player. I will only provide them when asked in narrative, and in mech combat you can mouse over every individual unit to discover their class/templates

How Asher creates a safe table
I'll need your content lines and veils. A session 0 with any new prospects. This session 0 will consist of character gen, and a small mock scenario with the other sitting members of the table. This session 0 will be free of charge, to help you get a vibe for the table, and the tables prior members get a vibe for you. If you are uncomfortable with the contents of a scene, you are expected to communicate such, through voice, roll20 whispers, or discord dms. Whichever works best. We follow a system of Red: I'd prefer a fade to black or this content not happen at all Yellow: Can we stop and talk about expectations for the scene, or take a break.
