About the adventure

"Perhaps when you got the news that you were a 'garou', a werewolf, you expected to be fighting hoards of evil monsters or hell even those pesky vampire asshats. But your small town isn't a supernatural warzone. It's calm. Or at least it was. An eerie feeling is brewing. Many members of the local Horticulture Club has gone missing and the police are either incompetent or corrupt lazy bastards. Regardless.. anger brews in you. This Horticulture Club has done a lot for the town and surrounding wildlife. Perhaps you and your pack can sniff out the clues in this mystery and kick the ass of those responsible!" "No Matter How Small" is the introductory story from the core book of WTA 5th edition. I will be running a slightly bulked up version of this story that gets you introduced to the setting of Werewolf 5, adding some extra scenes of the time you first turned into a Werewolf and how your pack eventually formed. This is intended to be a short beginner friendly chronicle, great for new players or veterans of older editions that want to give W5 a try. More experienced players are welcome to join, if you don't mind the initial learning phase of the new players! :)

About me

Hello, I'm Dominik (or Domi for short.) I've been into TTRPGs for over a decade now. Starting with DnD and later getting absorbed into World Of Darkness. I am queer and neurodivergent (ADHD) myself, so my table has always had a focus on being a welcoming safe space! If you're looking for a story rich game, with a bit of combat drizzled in, I'm your GM! ____ All listing thumbnails are artwork drawn by me, or photograph collages edited by me, unless stated otherwise.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creations will happen in the second half of session 0. It's OK to have a basic concept in mind before session 0, but try avoid writing a detailed backstory before then! The story starts with the player characters already being an established pack, so we will discuss how each of your player characters know eachother.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A Discord account is needed. After applying, I will send you a link to my server. No need to worry about Foundry, that is hosted on my end.

What Dominik brings to the table

Things I can provide: - Help with learning the system and character creation - Help with learning Foundry VTT - Music and Soundscapes - Rules as written, with the occassional Rule Of Cool! - Links to useful resources and guides

Homebrew rules

Touchstones: Some light homebrew, allowing for garou and non-mortal touchstone, as long as you have a minimum of one or more human or wolf touchstones. Combat: Larger combats have an initiative tracker. Allowing for multiple dodges per round, but at an increasing penalty for each dodge.

Safety

How Dominik creates a safe table

I will provide each player with a Lines and Veils form to fill out and then do a session 0 with character creation. In Foundry I also have a safety cards module. The WTA setting has mention of spiders, but no realistic spider images or tokens will be used because the GM has arachnophobia.
