About the adventure
Welcome to Lys Verdan, a world where the scars of ancient wars still shape the land and the ambitions of mortals collide with the echoes of gods. Vast forests breathe with dangerous life, ruined cities whisper with cursed magic, and courts of fire, crystal, and shadow play games that can topple kingdoms. Every corner of this world holds both beauty and terror, waiting for those bold enough to uncover it. This game is for players who love a mix of roleplaying, character development, and mythic storytelling. Some adventures will lead you into forgotten ruins haunted by the undead, others into the halls of elemental nobles who demand tribute and talent, and still others into the heart of a forest that wants you dead. Expect a balance of roleplay, discovery, and tense choices, and every action leaves ripples in a living world. Themes of the game lean toward the epic and the eerie. You’ll encounter wonder and horror in equal measure: corrupted dragons nesting in mountains of silver, courts where art is carved from fire itself, and cults who worship the silence at the end of all things. You’ll laugh, you’ll scheme, you’ll bleed, and you’ll leave your mark on Lys Verdan; for better or worse. Whether you’re a veteran player looking for rich lore and high stakes, or a newer player eager to explore a world filled with mystery and danger, this game will give you a chance to tell a story that feels personal, cinematic, and unforgettable. Bring your courage, your curiosity, and your dice for this world is waiting.

About me
My games are about impact with your words, your actions, your choices shape the story and the world around you. I specialize in roleplay-driven moments with high stakes and unforgettable, world-defining moments. If you want more than just dice rolls, you’ve found the right table.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be done via a session zero. It will use 4d6 remove the lowest for the stats. You roll two sets and choose a set you like. If both sets are not to your liking you can use Standard Array or Point Buy instead. We will discuss characters/lore and backgrounds during session zero and afterwards we will have a one on one to get extra details conformed.
Two members of this party have hectic schedules. While it might look like a 7 player table, it most likely will be a 4-5 player table.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts for Roll20, Discord, D&D Beyond Downloading an Beyond 20. Microphone of decent quality without background noise interrupting. Push-to-Talk enabled. You dont need to have an extra character but have some ideas in mind that we can work on.
What Ditzy brings to the table
We use ambient music from a discord bot that will play in the background. The focus is always more towards roleplay, fun and having character progression being in the foreground. Your backstory will come up and have impact on the world and your own character.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules are pretty standard with the bonus action potions being standard. Most homebrew will be discussed at table and will be setup depending on player wants and needs.

Safety
How Ditzy creates a safe table
Safety tools are very fluid when it comes to tables. We normally discuss a standard set of safety tools but they will come to a case by case basis when adding new ones. The standard tools are as follows Line and Veils: lines are hard limits that you don’t want to see at all. Veils are fade-to-black moments. Luxdon technique: in the games, there can be content that is upsetting (i.e. favorite npc death, horrible things happen). For a good story, these things can happen. This technique means that we take a break after those moments to recover if it’s needed. If you need a break from a game and leave for two to three weeks and you inform Ditzy, that conversation can happen. Fifteen minute breaks occur approximately halfway through the session. There’s also a fifteen minute opening to just chat and ease into the game Extra safety tools can be added anytime, open to conversations
