About the adventure

This mini-campaign involves mature themes and disturbing events. Player discretion is advised. In the process of investigating a mysterious series of killings and suicides in downtown Providence, a group of covert federal agents are driven to the edge of madness when they discover a disturbing pattern of disappearances, paranormal activity, and cultic conspiracy. ⚠️Join Delta Green: a conspiratorial U.S. agency risking everything to investigate the paranormal and protect humanity from unnatural horrors. As an Agent, you'll: 💸 Misappropriate government resources in a hidden war against the unnatural, knowing discovery could doom your team. 🕵️‍♂️ Investigate paranormal mysteries by examining crime scenes, deciphering hidden clues, and confronting secrets beyond mortal understanding. 💣 Navigate conspiracies to uncover dark artifacts, forbidden tomes, and the twisted supernatural science of hypergeometry. 🧠 Descend into madness as you face mind-bending entities from beyond, knowing that what you learn may cost you your sanity or even your life. Delta Green is a variation of Call of Cthulhu that brings cosmic horror to the modern era in a world of secret agencies, hidden societies, and unspeakable threats. The system is very easy to pick up, using a d100 roll-under resolution mechanic.

Character creation

Creating your character

Your character is working undercover as an FBI field agent. But in truth you are a member of a secret organization known only as Delta Green. Their mission is to find and eliminate unnatural threats, and to keep the public ignorant of their existence. Once you join the game and the discord server, we can begin to talk about your character. We will go over the steps of character generation during session zero and determine what (if any) relationship your character has to Delta Green and the other characters, along with your character's bonds and motivations. Character creation is straightforward. If you need help understanding the system or with your character at any time, I can help you. Free session zero provided (booked separately via private message).

How Grendy creates a safe table

A NOTE ON CONTENT “Singularity” is an exploration of contemporary internet cult violence, with themes of isolation, manipulation and self-harm. This mini-campaign contains themes of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyber-surveillance, homophobia, polarization, psychosis, revenge porn, ritualized abuse, self-harm, shaming, suicide, and transphobia. The villains of this campaign are truly dispicable cultists modeled after real-world modern online cults. Because of the sensitive nature of these topics, I make use of the Luxton technique as well as the optional Monte Cook Consent in Gaming fillable pdf to define lines and veils. You may also use "Red Card" card by typing X in Foundry chat. This has never happened in one of my games, but it is an option if needed. If a red card is used, we will take a break and I will check in with you. Players are able to leave the table at any time they need to by using the "stepping away" function in Foundry. Sessions will include roughly 3 hours of gameplay, with 15-20 minutes of preamble/recap and 15-20 minutes of debrief (stars and wishes), and one 10 minute break. During your free session zero we will go over the setting and character building, including defining your bonds and motivations, as well as any potential triggers to avoid.
