About the adventure
Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace— dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. About me
I'm a Tabletop RPG enthusiast! I've been GM-ing(poorly) for around 6 years, and actually being a good GM for 3! I love all things Fantasy and some things sci-fi. I've played a lot of D&D 5E, and my most recent special interest is the Cyberpunk Red TTRPG. I'm also a complicated boardgame superfan! So I love to learn all the rules details of an RPG but I'm always a fan of creative improvisation. I've been doing comedic improv for 7 years, through highschool and college. I have a degree in Interactive Media and Game Development from Worcester Polytechnic institute(With a concentration in Writing!) As part of my capstone project, I was the producer and lead writer for a Renaissance themed campaign setting for D&D5E. I'd be happy to send you a copy of the book if you'd like! Telling interactive stories with a group of fun people is my passion. I think that ttrpgs are one of the best forms of collaborative storytelling out there! I love to make fun worlds and stories, and I love bringing them to life! I'll always try and tell you "Yes, and" instead of "no" but I always know where to draw the line. Creating your character
Character Creation can absolutely happen before the Session 0. I'll need everyone to at least go over all of their character details/choices with me during that session. Otherwise during session 0 I will share the campaign overview as well as the additional details of the campaign that might affect character creation. Please refer to the Daggerheart core book and nothing else. I'm new to the system so homebrew is out of my wheelhouse.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord account is the only thing necessary. Please send me a friend request @qxander so I can create a groupchat for the party. I would reccomend a copy of Daggerheart's rulebook to aide with character creation and advancement.
What QXander brings to the table
I will be providing voices and fully acting out all of the NPCs. Combat will be challenging and exciting, but I plan to focus mostly on crafting an interesting and engaging narrative with you. Once you join the campaign I'll send you info about the story, and also the character creation details if you need them.
