The dwarven compound Vy Nomburo is nestled into a remote valley of the Godfinger mountains. Most of the year they’re able to trade with their neighbors without issue, but the travel routes disappear under harsh snowfall come winter. Vy Nomburo has to rely on the nearest neighboring town of Sicklepick to send them crates of food and medicine via sled teams until the weather improves. This year, the mountains have been bombarded by an especially terrible snowstorm, the Ethereal Wolf has taken control of the weather and now deliberately attacks the sled teams as they leave Sicklepick. No sled has made it to Vy Nomburo this year, nor have they returned to town. The dwarven compound is running out of time, and Sicklepick is running out of sleds. The fate of the men, women, and children of Vy Nomburo rests on the back of a stray flickerhound who’s ready to brave the storm.
