About the adventure
First possible Session date: January 4, 2026. The dead walk, the living hide, and the world you knew is gone. Your town — once a safe haven — is failing. The walls are breaking, the food is gone, and the moans outside grow louder every night. But there’s one last chance: Lighthelm. The stories say its gates still stand, its people still fight, and maybe, just maybe, there’s a cure. Leaving means risking everything — the open roads are crawling with the undead, and worse things lurk in the shadows — but staying means certain death. Now, a small band of survivors must make the impossible journey across the corpse-haunted lands. Every mile is a gamble. Every choice has a cost. And as humanity’s light flickers in the dark, you’ll discover that the dead aren’t the only monsters left. ----- This campaign takes inspiration from Age of Umbra, The Walking Dead, and other similar vibes.

About me
Greetings! I'm David, and I've been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years, and been running them as a DM/Storyteller for over fifteen years, mainly in D&D and Vampire: The Masquerade. My goal in hosting any game is to give the players the best experience possible, including ambient music and soundtracks, heavily modified and customized FoundryVTT tabletops with web-based hosting, help in learning the game's system and rules (yes, even if you are new!) and a *collaborative* storytelling experience that immerses you in the world we're exploring. What do I mean by collaborative storytelling? I strive to make every player feel included in both the group of players and in the telling of the actual story, whether it be high fantasy or modern day. My favorite and most memorable campaigns as a player have always brought the group of players together in telling a great story with input from everyone, not just the GM. That being said, the games I run tend to be more role-play than roll-play, so if that's something you're looking for, I hope to see you in a game sometime soon!
