Lord of the Rings in Daggerheart creates a gritty, slower approach to the game, leaning into Tolkien's belief that the destination isn't always more important than how you get there. Not quite as gritty as other grid-by-grid hexploration games, LotR DH sets a nice middle ground for overland travel, where things can happen and story can evolve as we take each step.
