About the adventure
Masks of Nyarlathotep is a Lovecraftian descent into horror and mystery. Its prologue opens in 1921, amid a Peruvian expedition that forges a friendship whose consequences will echo years later. The main campaign begins in 1925, starting in America before carrying the investigators across the globe—to England, Egypt, Kenya, Western Australia, and China. Summoned to carry out the final wishes of a departed friend and associate, the investigators are drawn into a deadly confrontation with the many-faced cults of an alien god. In unraveling the fate of the doomed Carlyle Expedition, they expose a secret plan of cosmic масштаb—one upon which the fate of the world itself depends. This is a classic style game, not pulp, but some adjustments to increase survivability may be made, however, some your investigators will sometimes die and/or go insane. Campaign is fairly long (about 20-30 sessions for most groups, 3-4 hrs sessions, I ran it a bit longer, I have to admit). I may consider to change starting time a bit if required.

Hello everyone, I’m Max, and I’ve been involved in tabletop RPGs since the days of AD&D. Over the years, I’ve experienced a wide range of systems and played with a lot of different people. We will discuss characters on session 0, you can prepare in advance, you may use charactermancer in the vtt, I can provide a link to an outside one with more options, if you want to use a pregen I have plenty if those.
