About the adventure
More than five hundred years ago, clans of dwarves and gnomes made an agreement known as the Phandelver's Pact, by which they would share a rich mine in a wondrous cavern known as Wave Echo Cave. In addition to its mineral wealth, the mine contained great magical power. Human spellcasters allied themselves with the dwarves and gnomes to channel and bind that energy into a great forge (called the Forge of Spells), where magic items could be crafted. Times were good, and the nearby human town of Phandalin (pronounced fan-duh-lin) prospered as well. But then disaster struck when orcs swept through the North and laid waste to all in their path. A powerful force of orcs reinforced by evil mercenary wizards attacked Wave Echo Cave to seize its riches and magic treasures. Human wizards fought alongside their dwarf and gnome allies to defend the Forge of Spells, and the ensuing spell battle destroyed much of the cavern. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost. For centuries, rumors of buried riches have attracted treasure seekers and opportunists to the area around Phandalin, but no one has ever succeeded in locating the lost mine. In recent years, people have resettled the area. Phandalin is now a rough-and-tumble frontier town. More important, the Rockseeker brothers—a trio of dwarves—have discovered the entrance to Wave Echo Cave, and they intend to reopen the mines. Unfortunately for the Rockseekers, they are not the only ones interested in Wave Echo Cave.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Greetings, Adventurer, Allow me to introduce myself, my name is GlennManiac, and for over four years I’ve had the privilege of guiding brave souls through the endless worlds of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. From chilling gothic tales like Curse of Strahd to the mysteries of Phandelver Below, I’ve led both seasoned veterans and wide-eyed newcomers into adventures filled with peril, laughter, and unforgettable stories. What I love most about being a Dungeon Master is the opportunity to welcome new heroes into the hobby, helping players discover the magic of roleplay, world-building, and collaborative storytelling. Whether you’re a first-time adventurer picking up your dice or an experienced hero seeking a new party, I’ll make sure you feel at home at the table. My style as a DM is flexible and story-driven, with a strong focus on roleplay, character immersion, and player agency. I bring worlds to life with detailed maps, atmospheric illustrations, and visual aids that transform each session into a cinematic experience. My goal is not just to run a game, but to create a living, breathing adventure where your character’s choices matter and every session feels epic. Through this platform, I hope to meet like-minded adventurers, expand my D&D network, and continue weaving tales that players will talk about long after the dice stop rolling. If you’re looking for a campaign that blends roleplay, immersion, and creativity, then you’ve found the right table. So gather your courage, sharpen your blades, and ready your spells, because a new adventure is about to begin. Will you join me on the next great journey?

How GlennManiac creates a safe table
Fun is my top priority. Fun is only possible if all players feel safe and well. I use a stupid safeword during my sessions "peanutbutter" to pauze te session. i'll have a short 1 on 1 talk to try to solve the problem.
