About the adventure
This is a high-stakes, globe-trotting Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign set along the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms. It begins with fire and terror as a dragon and its cultist allies descend on a quiet town, and from that moment you’ll be racing against time to uncover plots, chase caravans of stolen treasure, and battle to prevent the return of Tiamat, the five-headed Queen of Evil Dragons. The game blends heroic fantasy and intrigue. One week you might be standing atop a castle wall hurling spells at a blue dragon; the next you’re negotiating with spies, infiltrating a secret temple, or exploring an ancient ruin for clues. Combat is dramatic and challenging but never mindless, diplomacy can sway the course of the story, and exploration rewards curiosity. This campaign is for players who enjoy epic stakes with real choices — people who want to feel like their decisions and alliances matter. Whether you’re a first-timer looking for a cinematic experience or a veteran who loves faction politics, you’ll get to create a hero who can change the fate of the realm. I run the game as a collaborative story: you bring bold characters with goals and flaws, and I’ll throw you into situations full of dragons, cults, moral dilemmas, and moments to shine. Expect a mix of vivid roleplay, dangerous battles, and memorable NPCs; together we’ll make a saga worthy of a legend.

About me
Hey Chaps I'm Yore-Gm, I’m a story-driven GM with four years of experience running epic, character-rich campaigns in both homebrew worlds and published modules. I’ve introduced dozens of players to D&D, including helping bring the game to the Scouts—many of those young players now run their own games, which is one of the things I’m proudest of as a GM. My approach is all about collaboration, creative risk, and escapism. I believe the best roleplay comes from really knowing your character—and I love helping players grow into their stories, whether they’re veterans or just starting out.

What Yore-GM brings to the table
I run games that are immersive, cinematic, and player-focused. I bring the world to life with vivid descriptions, atmospheric music, and sound effects, and I use different voices for NPCs to make each character memorable. My sessions blend tactical combat, exploration, and roleplay, giving each player opportunities to shine in ways that suit their character. I create custom maps and environments for encounters and exploration, and I provide story arcs that respond to your characters’ choices, so your decisions have real impact on the world. While I follow the Rules as Written, I will allow a Rule of Cool when it’s realistic and adds excitement. Players can expect rich storytelling, moral dilemmas, and epic moments — from facing dragons and cults to solving mysteries or negotiating with factions. I also incorporate source materials like the Player’s Handbook and approved supplements to keep the game balanced and grounded in D&D 5e rules. Overall, my goal is to run a game that is engaging, dynamic, and memorable: a world where your characters’ actions matter, their stories unfold meaningfully, and every session feels cinematic and fun.

Safety
How Yore-GM creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are my top priority. I run a Lines & Veils system to define what content is off-limits (Lines) and what can be hinted at but not depicted in detail (Veils). I will send a digital copy of this document before the first session so everyone can review and provide input. During Session Zero, we will go over: Lines & Veils boundaries. The X, N, O system (X = stop immediately, N = slow down or fade away, O = okay to continue) and how to use it during play. Expectations for respect, consent, and communication at the table. Any questions about content, tone, or the story. The X, N, O signals can be communicated digitally via chat, messaged privately, or held up on video, depending on what works best for each player. After sessions, I offer optional aftercare for any players who need to process intense moments, discuss choices, or debrief character actions. This can be done via private chat or voice. My goal is to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and able to enjoy the story without discomfort.
