About the adventure
The civilization of Haven comes into inevitable conflict with the wilds of Fanewick with the former's unwavering expansion into the woods and the latter's inevitable regrowth and retaking of land. While those in power throughout these lands often use the conflict for their own, short-sighted goals, the common folk are largely unaware of the greater conflict. The recent Wolf War had cost a number of lives, but some of the more aggressive Faint Divinities also fell in the conflict. Some say the Wolf Tribe and Chimp Tribe were the real losers of the war, while others say Haven badly. No one claims anyone won the war. But as the common folk get back to their usual interactions, albeit with new cautions and tensions, life was getting back to some semblance of normal. That is... until you stumbled upon a survivor of the war, an infant Faint Divinity in the form of a wolf. Soon, you realize this may be the last of the Wolf Tribe, and if you do not help her, her kind will perish from the land forever. As you travel with this lesser god, the Party will face challenges as they venture deep into the wilds. Pursued by hunters, fanatics, and soldiers from Haven, the Party also needs to protect the young pup from the Withered monstrosities that are rampaging the woods, harsh magical habitats, and competing Tribes of Faint Divinities. The darkness and the evils around you seem to keep growing, but by the warmth of the campfire and the heat of battle, you can count on your new friends to see the quest through to the end.

Creating your character
We will create characters during our FREE Session 0! We will use Demiplane (I have shared content) for the characters, Roll20 for the maps/visuals, and Discord for communications! Ahead of time, please check out the cards and text in the Daggerheart core book or the FREE rules downloads available at Daggerheart.com. In addition to the Core Mechanics and Character Creation options, be sure to check out the Best Practices and roleplay advice throughout the book for Players. Be prepared to come to Session 0 with a spirit of collaboration, a generous attitude towards creativity, and the willingness to try new things. For a good reference on how this will function, consider the Age of Umbra Session 0 as a guide: https://youtu.be/4VyFOXBU8dM?si=CC8NPWrQh6iPfRYz
FREE SESSION 0!!! Join for a campaign that focuses on: Consistent Scheduling Equity at the Table Stories Highlighting Friendship Party Composition: "The Revenant", a Ranger of Fanewick, of the Slybourne Gladefolk and survivor of the Volksaga massacre. Mathis Rahl, a Warrior of Haven, of the Orderborne Half-Orcs and survivor of the Battle of Briarcopse. Alexandra Elvar, a Wizard of Haven, of the Highborne Humans with survivor's guilt due to her failure with the Serpent Sickness.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please make sure you have a Discord account, a clear microphone, a Demiplane account (free), a Roll20 account (free), and a copy of the Daggerheart core book (whenever you can). While the Daggerheart core book is not essential to play, the details provided and the excellent advice throughout is very helpful. Plus, the cards that come with are a great reminder for gameplay. The free rules on Daggerheart.com will also suffice.
What Jeremiah | The Direpug Storyteller brings to the table
Above all, I provide a consistent schedule with a game story that revolves around YOU and your choices. I will provide a Demiplane group that can share the gameplay rules freely to you. I will provide a Roll20 experience for visual aids, tactical/blocking maps for encounters, music, and other atmospheric effects. I will provide a Discord channel for the Players to talk casually, communicate OOC during game, post character arts, and facilitate voice chat during session. I will stick to rules as written, with a spirit of rules as intended, to make the most dramatically satisfying role-playing campaign that I can. I will sometimes voice act, and I will provide a complex social/political narrative with an array of unforgettable NPCs, dangerous encounters, and the fate of nations on the line.
Homebrew rules
I may employ a loose set of turn tracking rules if I need to help ensure shy/less loud Players get a fair turn at the Spotlight, if needed.
