About the adventure
“Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival.” In this quickstart adventure, you'll get a chance to learn the basics of Daggerheart, the newest RPG from Darrington Press. Whether you've never played an RPG before, are new to Daggerheart itself, or simply want to help some friends dip their toes in for the first time, all are welcome to join in for the trek through the Sablewood. I've made an alteration or two to the flow of the adventure, so even if you've played through The Sablewood Messengers before, you're invited to come along to see what twists and turns have been introduced!

Creating your character
Premade characters are provided for this session, with only one out of the six required for the adventure. All character sheets and related materials will be shared with the group.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
In order to participate, please make accounts at both Demiplane (https://app.demiplane.com/home) and at Roll20 (https://roll20.net/), being sure to follow instructions on either to link the two accounts. This allows the source material and characters to be shared, free of charge.
What Roe brings to the table
As part of the integration between Demiplane and Roll20, I'll be able to provide all character material and source book references via the group formed on Demiplane. The session itself will be held on Roll20. While voice chat will be available for those who wish to use it, it is by no means required. Chat-only interactions are more than welcome at my table, for those who can't or don't wish to join voice chat.

How Roe creates a safe table
We will be using X, N, & O cards, available to be communicated in Roll20's text chat. Breaks will be factored in, as we will be attempting to keep this to a one-shot adventure. An intermission will give us the chance to see to personal needs before continuing to the second half of the session.
