About me
I started playing RPGs in HS and College where I both DM/GM'd games and played characters. Our group ran AD&D, Torg, Twilight 2000, and Call of Cthulhu. We also toyed with several others: Traveler (Classic), James Bond, Morrow Project, Cyberpunk. I took a break for a bit and I'm back into the RPG realm with recent games in Cthulhu and Daggerheart. I'm deeply into technology and enjoy finding the right balance for my groups with non-AI RPG assistive tech while keeping it focused on the "role playing" nature of the game.

Creating your character
• During Session 0 phase we'll establish our safety tools and introduce each other via DIscord channels • We will then create Level 1 characters, using Daggerheart rules, and discuss our connection to each other. • To tie your character to the setting and scenario, I will share the player's guide to the world of Velthuryn & this campaign • Session 1 is when we dive in and play!

Preparing for the session
• Discord account to talk and text. • Free Demiplane account: https://app.demiplane.com/home (This will hold your safe primary character sheet) • After joining the game, view the Prep Materials and follow any other instructions. • After joining my discord server, download, read and complete the safety checklist in my #safety channel before you can join the game.
What Joe brings to the table
I encourage flexibility and understanding. As Daggerheart is a collaborative story-telling RPG, I encourage characters to lean forward on that and help develop and drive the story in creative ways

There are some campaign specific mechanics, but we'll use the standard Daggerheart rules.
