About the adventure

War ravages across occupied space, engulfing most of the human race in its flames. Living on a neutral space colony, you assumed it would still be some time before war reached your doorstep. Alas, that assumption will soon be shattered as the tides of war arrive at the colony with explosive fervor. And, in an attempt to protect those you care about, you make the decision to fight. ----- This is a custom Lancer campaign inspired by works such as Mobile Suit Gundam. It takes place in a custom setting that draws a lot of inspiration from that source, as well as other mecha media. This is a universe much less developed technology wise when compared to Lancer's default space opera, however nearly all options available to players in Lancer are available here. We will start at LL2, and go from there.

About me

Hi there! I have been a game master for over thirteen years now. In that time, I have run games in a variety of different systems and genres, both online and in person. Getting to explore the ins and outs of a new system is a particular joy, one that is overtaken by being able to collaborate with players and work together to tell a story we'll all remember. I generally consider myself a bit of a mega nerd. A lot of my childhood was spent reading things like “Star Wars: the Essential Guide to Characters” and other such books, and when I began to delve into the internet, reading various fan run wikis. Lately, Doctor Who and Gundam have been by major nerd spheres of interest.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will go over most relevant parts of character creation during session zero, however players can do as much work on their characters as they want beforehand if they want. Player characters will start at LL2.

The current party

Party is currently LL5.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will be expected to have the following: -A discord account -Decent Internet -A decent microphone -To be decently audible and not have a ton of background noise -Foundry will be used for all virtual table top purposes, so a computer that can access foundry will be needed. Knowledge of the system is not required, nor is any real knowledge of mecha fiction.

What Char brings to the table

I have a fair amount of genre knowledge, and have years of experience as a GM. I tend to do some voices for characters, nothing professional by any means, but enough to distinguish between various characters encountered. I also have a decently sized and accessible library of various token art for players to peruse to use for their mechs, and can provide resources to find art for player characters.
