About me
Hello my name JP. I’ve been GMing and playing D&D and other tabletop for almost a decade. My style of GMing is very story and roleplay heavy. I love creating immersive stories for my players that are meaningful and challenge their moral decision making. My greatest inspirations for storytelling are, old school BioWare, Critical Role, and White Wolf. I strive to maintain a fun and safe environment for my players, and foster strong communications and civility at the table. I have all players agree to a code of ethics before starting games to ensure a smooth experience. If any issues arises during gameplay, I always encourage my players to communicate with me ASAP so I can resolve the situation. Any player who violates the codes of ethics will be asked to leave the table. Systems that I am proficient with, D&D 5e, Fatecore, Mutants and Mastermind 3rd Ed, and Vampire Masquerade Old World of Darkness. I am also passionate about tabletop and boardgames. Some of my favorite board games are Betrayal on the Haunted House of the Hill, Fluxx, Kings of Tokyo, and Resistance.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Things needed before session... -Discord Account -Roll20 Account -(Optional Review the Player's Guide to Odyssey of the Dragonlords)
What JP the Traveling GM brings to the table
Expect to hear ambient and combat music, character voices, and experience tactical combat. I'm very story driven and roleplay heavy. Player characters will also be faced with moral dilemmas, and choices that may affect them later in the game. I generally reward my players for their creativity, and I like the rule of cool! Rule of cool is generally more fun and rememberable.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew Rules -Flanking: when an ally is opposite to you, and both of you are attacking the same enemy/target, you gain advantage on that attack roll. -Crits do double damage but spells do not.

How JP the Traveling GM creates a safe table
We will have a free zero session to go over the code of conduct at the table. Then we will go through the RPG consent, to see which subjects we are ok to have at the table. We will also use small breaks during our session, and finally do aftercare to check how players felt about the session. I will email a document about the X, N, O, cards and how they work.
