Good King Omund has been killed, betrayed by his once-thought incorruptible Dragon Knights. Ajax's Hawklords patrol the skies enforcing his iron will on all those who would contest his will. But there's good news - you're here! In Draw Steel you're a hero, and the good people of Vasloria have heard of your deeds! Maybe you're a Tactician, famous for leading your doomed legion out of an impossible situation with superior skill on the field? Or, perhaps, an Elementalist renowned for turning all who would hamper your studies to a smoldering pile of ash? Are you a Shadow? Your name only whispered in dark corners out of trembling lips, fearing that even it's mention will be repaid by a dagger in the back in a dark alley? Something else? You decide!
