About the adventure
The winds that sweep across Noctara no longer whisper—they wail. Long has the land forgotten the names of its tyrants and saints, burying truth beneath a tide of ash, blood, and time. Yet in the cradle of the valley, where the moon casts its pallid eye too often and too red, the town of Dornwich endures. Its hearths remain lit. Its doors still open. And its people, though wary, speak not of the old songs that once turned men into monsters. You arrive not in triumph, but in silence. There is no fanfare for fate. Only the soft clatter of boots on stone, the smell of burning pine, and a feeling in your bones that something once banished... now waits to be remembered. Beneath the stained glass of the church and the watchful gaze of a crimson sky, destiny stirs — and with it, a vow written not in ink, but in blood. High above the valley, carved into the mountainside like a scar, the ruined silhouette of Castle Braerwatch looms. Its broken spires pierce the mist like the bones of a long-dead god, ever cloaked in swirling fog that never seems to lift. Few dare speak its name, and fewer still remember the royal blood that once ruled from its dark halls. But some nights—nights when the moon glows too red, and the howls echo too close—the villagers swear they see a single light flicker behind its shattered windows.

About me
I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 1990, with experience in 1st, 2nd, 3.0, 3.5, and now 5th edition. Out of all that time, I’ve spent over 20 years as a DM, and while I’m still new-ish to the online DM world, I bring a lifetime of passion and storytelling to the table. I love a good balance of roleplay and combat, and I’m flexible with both experience-based and milestone leveling. I currently use Discord and D&D Beyond, along with the VTT, for communication and character management. As a parent of young children, I may occasionally need a quick 2–5 minute break during sessions to check on them—thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Most importantly, I believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for all players. I’m proudly pro-LGBTQ+, and I won’t tolerate any form of hateful or offensive behavior at my table. This is a second job for me—but also a true passion. I love weaving immersive worlds where players can embark on unforgettable journeys. Happy adventuring, and may your dice roll true!
