About the adventure

The silent plague swept the coast, leaving the dead. The living learned to whisper, to signal through light, and to rebuild without noise. Your group moves between the remains of coastal towns — couriers, scavengers, medics, and salvagers who risk the quiet between storms. Each breath, each footstep, each sound can end everything. This campaign is about endurance, trust, and the small choices that decide who gets to keep going. Weapons are loud. Infection is fast. Time is shorter than you think. 🩸 Infection & Triage System — Treat, amputate, or contain 🔦 Scavenger’s Economy — Trade parts, ration fuel, and repurpose. 📻 Ash Coast Radio Events — World updates through broadcasts. What players can expect Collaborative storytelling and adaptive world state. Real consequences. Slow-burn tension. Emphasis on survival ethics, and human behavior under pressure. Focus on immersion, atmosphere, and player agency.

Safety

How Billdow00 creates a safe table

Possible safety tags and trigger warnings for this game include: Violence and Gore: The game features combat against zombies and other adversaries, which may include descriptions of injuries, blood, and gore. Death and Undeath: The setting revolves around a zombie apocalypse, which inherently involves death, reanimation, and the loss of loved ones. Horror and Survival Themes: The game includes horror elements, such as suspense, fear, and encounters with terrifying creatures. Survival themes like scarcity of resources, difficult choices, and desperation may also be distressing for some players. Moral Ambiguity: Players will face morally complex situations and make choices that may have far-reaching consequences. This could include betraying or sacrificing allies or engaging in morally questionable actions for survival. Psychological Distress: The game may explore themes of grief, loss, hopelessness, and trauma experienced by characters and NPCs in the post-apocalyptic world. Body Horror: The description of zombies and other creatures may include disturbing or grotesque details, such as disfigurement, mutation, or decay. Dark Magic and Occult Themes: The game delves into the secrets of magic, which might involve dark rituals, occult symbolism, or sinister forces. During Session 0, it's crucial to discuss these safety tags with your players and establish clear boundaries, lines, and veils. Encourage open communication and the use of safety tools like the X, N, and O cards to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone involved.
