About the adventure
The lands of Avoria breath a collective sigh of relief, The Lichlord Ul'varg is defeated, his army fallen to shambles in the battlefield but no heroes emerge from the tower Ul'varg ruled his undead army from. Heroic sacrifices just like the hundreds of soldier from all nations that died to bring his reign to an end. Now comes a time of rebuilding and recovering, new heroes forged for a new age, but what struggles and tribulations await them I run a decent mix between RP and combat in my games, my world has plenty of memorable NPCs running around (some even past PCs from older campaigns in Avoira) and look forward to adding more from my players backstories and action throughout the game. Combat wise I run everything from combats in tight corridors in dungeons to epic wars or even a Kaiju or 2. I also like to spice up the game with many custom items, including a system for items that grow with their owners, and new spells and abilities that can be gained and also wielded by the evil you face.

About me
I am 37 years old and have been playing DnD since I was in middle school with about 23 years of experience as a player and 19 years of experience as a DM. I love all kinds of anime, video games, and books, a few examples of with would be Slime Isekai, Borderlands, and the Locked Tomb Trilogy by Tamsyn Muir. I love crafting epic stories with those that show up to my games.

Creating your character
Starting at level 4 Characters will be created in a private session 0 on Roll20 before the first session As for Class and Species I allow all the species and classes from the official books (except Vedelken and Simic Hybrid, tho if you come up with a clever story for it I will consider reskinning the species as something that would fit). I am also allowing Homebrew stuff as long as it is run by me first and it isn't abusively strong No Space or technology stuff ( I love Sci-fi but it just doesn't mesh with my world) No Demigods (children of gods and such, but demon/angel/dragon relative go nuts) This is a good aligned campaign, please keep that in mind when putting together a application.

Preparing for the session
Make sure you have an account with Discord and Roll20.com Have an idea of your characters background before session 0, we will hammer out the details together.
What Tim brings to the table
Be prepared for a custom world that has been shaped by multiple parties both for good and evil over the years filled with custom monsters and eccentric NPCs. I very much embrace the rule of cool with most of my rulings and will play fast and loose with things that aren't explicitly laid out in the rules. I love large epic style boss fights, and I give my players the tools to to be epic heroes (or villains depending on the campaign) thru many custom items, spells, and powers.

How Tim creates a safe table
Session 0 we will be going over a triggering issues worksheet that everyone will fill out so I can avoid any topics that will be too much for someone or things that just need to be handled with a fade to black. Otherwise I am always open to my players using the whisper function in Roll20 (or in Discord, but I am more likely to see in it the Roll20 window) if they need a break from a in game situation or would really like it to just conclude/FTB.
