About me
🔵 34 - he/him 🔵 "Heya" When I run games, my goal is to set a stage for my players. I make sure everything is right; my character work, the soundtrack, the worldbuilding, the narrative cohesion, and most importantly - the table vibe. I want to foster an environment where my players can most comfortably share their creative selves. To me, that means not only immersing them in a game world that feels real and enticing, but also cultivating a gaming environment where players feel heard, and among friends. In addition to being an enduring RPG enthusiast, I've spent most of my life performing. Plenty of time on stage as well as in the booth; my voice is my instrument, and I love no performance as much as I love filling the role of GM. I have long been fascinated by this collaborative medium, and I'm seeking players who similarly wish to explore the narrative possibilities that only RPGs can offer. Let's ham it up and roll some dice! <<Check out the "Youtube" link at the bottom for an old demo of my character work! It's a bit on the loud side right off the bat so be prepared>>

Creating your character
At our Session 0, we'll congregate in Foundry and in Discord to discuss as a group what kind of adventuring party we want to create. We'll go over the basic game rules and create our 1st-level characters together. Anyone joining us after our Session 0 will need to schedule a one-on-one chat with me *prior* to your first session with us - so I can catch you up on everything you need to know!
Our heroes are 13th level and have well-established their fast-growing kingdom! Our counselor’s estranged mother has arrived in our kingdom; not with reconciliation in mind, but a job. Now in the company of his illustrious adventurer mom, David’s group ventures to a strange and dangerous land in search of a man gnome of science - a mission with far-reaching geopolitical ramifications. The High Council of Kalmorai is: Sol Sulari (Life Oracle) - Venerable "Ruler" of the council; Sol spent most of her long life as a symbol of hope for a beleaguered tribe of sarkorians roaming the wastes of the Worldwound. She never lived up to her homeland's expectations, so struck out to build a new one. David Levi (Thief Rogue) - The council's compassionate "Counselor"; David does what he can to be a voice for the people of Kalmorai. A talented baker, an adopted son to Sol, and a notorious flirt; David steals both hearts and kills in equal measure. Calliopë (Grandeur Champion) - A dryad representative of Kalmorai's forests; Kalmorai's "Warden" Calliopë continues to guide the foundling nation with an eye towards natural harmony and an uncompromising stance towards those who would despoil the wilds. Saiqa Moonpelt (Chronomancer Wizard) - A man unstuck in time; Kalmorai's "Viceroy" Saiqa contends with the temporal anomalies of the Stolen Lands while ushering forth remarkable advances in magic and science. He is single-handedly responsible for Kalmorai's formidable legions of animated construct soldiers.

How Dabinski creates a safe table
During Session 0 we'll discuss our various safety tools and how best to utilize them. Afterwards I'll send out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to get a precise record of which subjects need not be broached during our game. Consent is a constant state of flow, and I intend to foster an environment where the group can discuss uncomfortable situations as they develop, if necessary - and to support one-another in finding the most equitable ways of moving forward with the game.
