About the adventure
You were born beneath starlight, among clouds that never touch the earth. High above the world you called Evathe, floats Valhalla, a vast and living sky-realm crafted by Amerta the Great, the Celestial Sorcerer. Mountains drift among the heavens, oceans hang suspended in the air, and ancient forests bloom with magical beasts and sentient plants. This paradise was built to protect his wives, his descendants, and his legacy. A nation raised in the sky. For generations, the 15 noble bloodlines, each founded by a different race, lived in harmony, nurturing their domains and guarding ancient relics. But now, that harmony teeters on the edge of collapse. Now, whispers of prophecy stir. His final wife, a mortal woman named Layla, has borne mysterious twins. The celestial relics have begun to awaken. And factions across the 15 Houses prepare for a succession that could either unite the sky... or bring it crashing down. As one of Amerta’s descendants, you must navigate magical dungeons, political intrigue, and divine mysteries. Will you rise as protector of Valhalla? 🎭 What to Expect as a Player Genre & Tone: High Fantasy with a touch of mythpunk Political Intrigue, Mythic Prophecy, Personal Choice Epic-scale exploration, magical combat, and layered diplomacy A balance of narrative depth and wild adventuring ⚔️ Gameplay Structure Exploration: Travel between sky-isles, uncover hidden dungeons, face ancient guardians Combat: Tactical encounters with magical beasts, corrupted factions, and rival claimants Intrigue: Negotiate with Houses, choose sides, unravel betrayals Mystery: Discover relics of Amerta, unlock memories, and survive celestial trials Moral Choice: Defend Layla and the twins, or claim the throne for your own House A world where your actions leave marks This is a narrative-driven, homebrew campaign where your choices shape the story. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for worse. Whether you're a roleplay enthusiast or just want to explore your character in a living world, this game invites you to dive into mystery, interact with complex NPCs, and face dilemmas that challenge your morals and ideals. You don’t need to know all the rules. I’ll guide you through mechanics as they come up, and focus on rules-as-intended to keep the pace fun and flexible. You’ll get plenty of chances to talk, explore, investigate, and roll dice that could change everything.

Creating your character
Within the start of the campaign, y'all will start at level 3 with 27 point buy, to add you gain one free feat which must follow the prerequisite of the feat itself. My campaigns usually last until level 10-12 which follow the milestone system. Any race within D&D is accessible, but sadly we do not allow homebrew race because of a lot issues with balance and to add with lore of the world that currently exist. So sadly, y'all can only play officially release races within D&D. Every class within D&D is allowed, although some subclass are ban due to how broken it is and to add how it is quite hard to balance within roleplay and combat for me. So for an easier time for everybody some of these sub-class are unable to be use. You can use any background that exist in D&D, although if a feat gives you a free feat. Your free feat will no longer be given as it will be overwritten by the free feat that you gain from the background. This is for the purpose of balance between the player's characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is just a microphone, a discord account with a suggestion of the discord app so we are able to talk towards one and another further upon the campaign. To add please have a browser ready for Foundryvtt and you do not need to have any account related to it due to local hosting. These browser could be Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or Edge. I haven't tested with safari or any other browser.
What Heralds brings to the table
In my games, I offer a virtual tabletop (VTT) experience with custom maps and tokens tailored to the story, as well as access to all content on D&D Beyond for character creation and resources. The campaign is themed around horror and dark elements, setting a grim and immersive atmosphere. I bring characters to life with distinct voices and enhance the ambiance with fitting music and soundscapes. While combat can be intense, it isn't a frequent occurrence; the focus is more on storytelling, exploration, and decision-making.
