About the adventure
It’s been a century since the waters rose. No one remembers how or why it happened. You live in a small settlement, and no matter which direction you look, all your eyes can see is the endless, vast blue sea. This is the only life you’ve ever known. Every settlement is like the one you call home — built from salvaged materials that once drifted on the ocean’s surface, collected decades ago. Some are humble encampments housing less than 20 persons, others, floating fortresses with a garrison of 400 strong. Everyone contributes to their community in whatever way they can. Most choose the life of a fisherman or a scavenger. This one-shot tells the tale of one such group — a single day in their lives, and all the dangers that come with it. I’ve been GM-ing since 2019, running everything from one-shots to a three-year bi-weekly campaign. My style blends gritty, character-driven fantasy with just enough humor to keep things fun. I draw inspiration from writers like Joe Abercrombie and George R. R. Martin, as well as The Witcher, Game of Thrones, and classic myth. At my table, player freedom comes first.
