About the adventure

Do you like DND but wish you could play as a proper witch? Have you always wanted to play in an all witch game? Look no further! In this game we'll be using the witch subclasses from the Hexbound 5e supplement by hit point press. Materials will be provided. Hexbound reimagines every subclass as a kind of Witch. Witchcraft is a ritual practice passed down from generation to generation, mentor to pupil. Your master trained you and performed the ritual to connect you; they're also the only ones you can cut off your magical power (if you let them). You can be a Bard who summons the spirits of the earth, a sorcerer who summons the spirits of their ancestors, a barbarian who speaks to the spirits around her to channel raw magical power, a rouge who knows the weakness of their enemies by the whispers of the spirits, and many more.

About me

Hey everyone! The name is Iris. I've played D&D for a few years, GM'd for a little while. I've also spent time learning improv in local workshops. I think D&D is a great tool to bring people together and create joy. I'm interested in using D&D to explore the connections between people. I want to take us on fantasy adventures. I like to laugh and I like drama and I like emotion and I like experiencing all that in tabletop RPGs. D&D is just really fun and I want to bring other people the chance to play it. Excited to play with you!

Character creation

Creating your character

Level 6 We are playing Witches from "Hexbound", a 5e supplement by Hit Point Press. The book reimagines every class with a new witch subclass. When you join I will send you a DND beyond campaign link, and you will be able to build your characters with the homebrew subclasses there. Each player can roll 4d6 for each stat twice, then pick either result. If you aren't happy with those numbers you can take the following stat array: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I love to see peoples reactions when playing, and I will play with my camera on. A webcam is encouraged but not required. Message me on startplaying and we can discuss game setup.

Homebrew rules

House rules: Potions are a bonus action, drinking a potion as an action gives max healing for the potion. Critical hits give a full extra dice roll instead of rolling a second die. Example: instead of 2D6+2D6 it is 2D6+12 If a Nat 20 is rolled on a disadvantage roll, reroll the 20 and treat the remaining numbers with advantage. Open to suggestions from players about new house rules.
