About the adventure
This is for new players to Mutants and Masterminds 3e... This campaign will teach new players everything about the system and how to play and build characters in the game system. We will play through an expansive world I have built with new players in mind. The world is that of a dystopian future where humanity is on the verge of a great awakening where emerging superheroes are the key to defeating something on a galactic scale. Characters will build up to this and have many of what I will call comic books in the series. Books thus far: Book 1 The Devil Turncoat Our heroes are scattered across different departments of a public library, each focused on their work. Their efforts are disrupted by a live broadcast from the capitol building, where Dr. Steven Landry unveils what he calls the final solution to the chaos of this future. In a world where Type X individuals have taken it upon themselves to act as vigilantes, stepping in to protect people where the police fall short, his announcement sparks a pivotal moment. Boom! An explosion shakes the capitol building, just steps away from where the doctor was standing. Nearby heroes leap into action, rushing toward the chaos, uncertain of what awaits them. The heroes work together, using their powers to clear the rubble and put out the flames. What would have taken a team of workers days is accomplished in seconds. Among the wreckage, they find Dr. Landry, the man who had been so critical of them, trapped under the debris. Seeing the heroes in action, his perspective on their role in society shifts dramatically.

About me
I’m a disabled Veteran with plenty of free time to dedicate to making my campaigns fun and enjoyable. I’ve been playing since I was 13 and am now 50, with experience as both player and DM across systems from 1st edition D&D to 5th, plus most of White Wolf’s catalog and many out-of-print games. I focus on homemade campaigns with a few house rules, fueled by my love for all things fantastical and creative. Intricate backstories and great roleplay are my favorites, and I happily welcome new players, creating a pleasant environment to learn. If you’re looking for an open-minded DM ready to craft a fun, laughter-filled campaign for everyone, I’m your person.
