What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need the following: - Fantasy Grounds Unity (at least a demo copy) installed and operational. I have a DM Ultimate License so no purchase is necessary by the players. - Discord, installed and ready to use for voice. - Proper Quality Mic with headset. - High Speed Internet Connection. I do not live stream or record any sessions without prior player consent.

What BWatford brings to the table

- Custom maps and Fantasy Grounds extensions to enhance play. - Syrinscape for theme music and sound effects. - All software and books needed via Fantasy Grounds. - I will input any characters submitted by PDF into Fantasy Grounds and provide images and tokens if not submitted by the player.

Homebrew rules

- Rolling initiative every round. - Players may have up to 3 heroic inspiration points at a time and may spend one to reroll any dice roll they make or spend two to make the DM reroll a dice roll or spend three to partition for things they normally don't get to do. Rule of cool!!!! - Enemy Morale. A creature (Int score higher than 3 and not undead) might flee under the right circumstances. - Improved Critical Hits. On a critical hit, the damage is maximum damage plus another die roll instead of doubling dice. For example, a hit with a short sword would cause 6 + 1d6 + modifiers instead of 2d6 + modifiers. Fantasy Grounds will handle this automatically. - Improved Healing Potions. Using an action to consume a Potion of Healing grants its user the maximum number of recovered hit points. If using a bonus action to consume the healing potion, roll for results. It is a bonus action to drink a potion but still requires a regular action to administer one to someone else. - Flanking. When a creature and at least one of its allies are adjacent to an enemy and positioned on opposite sides or corners of the enemy's space, they flank that enemy. Attack rolls made by flankers against a flanked enemy have a +2 bonus. A creature does not grant flanking bonus if it is incapacitated, frightened, restrained, or grappled.
