About the adventure

Welcome to the dark and dangerous world of Eldritch Automata. Designed in the Year Zero Engine and inspired by the likes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Pacific Rim, and Escaflowne, E//A takes place in a recent-apocalyptic world filled with horror, drama, and psychological torment. In Eldritch Automata, you play one of humanity’s last defenders, facing down eldritch abominations that want to eat you, controlled by visually perfect angelic beings that want to control you, while piloting a massive monstrosity of a mech, the titular Automata, that’s slowly killing you. Pilots will deal with not only with the horrors and seraphs, but with their sanity and stress as well. This game has an inbuilt stress mechanic that focuses on stability. You can push yourself to for better chances as success with the potential risk of making it worse instead. About me

Been playing TTRPG's for over 13 years, 9 of those GM'ing and I've completed my fourth year doing full time GM work with StartPlaying! A lover of creating a enjoyable plot, and equally the random chaos that players can throw at me at a moments notice. I'm Scottish, so a heads up for a slight accent, all are welcome at the table, new or old, veteran or greenhorn, the dice don't care as long as they are rolled. I currently am also writing content for Daylight Publications and have done event work with Gehenna Gaming at PAX Unplugged 2024, PAX East 2025 and UK Games Expo 2025 For my Convention review feedback please check this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16TFqdsg_tK5d3tpRvFtQZCFwzBKUzoae_wTWGE5j-4M/edit?gid=0#gid=0 I will be at GenCon 2025, and PAX Unplugged 2025 with them.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Characters will need to join the discord server where the session will be ran. Character sheets will be handed out. A roll20 server will be used to show images and as a dice roller. (a free account will suffice) Players will be sent out a consent sheet that needs to be filled in prior to session.

What JustKyle brings to the table

A complete convention style experience where the table will go from safety tool and content warning comforts using a communal consent sheet based on answers given for anonymity to teaching the system and running the full session. Expect reactive descriptions, plenty answers for questions. Always looking at the rule of cool to see what people can do with the system.
