About the adventure
What other place in all the worlds and planes can a pit fiend walk into a bar and no one becomes alarmed? Where else will you find an ancient gold dragon depositing a portion of its horde into the most secure bank in the multiverse. Sit. I’ll pour you a drink, (a fine but fiery vintage from the second level of Hell) and tell you why this place is called both The City of Doors and The Cage. Navigate your way through the opportunities and perils of Sigil and the multiverse in Shadows and Portals. This original Planescape campaign will start the Players in Sigil. From there, the multiverse is your sandbox. Find opportunities, deal with threats, and make a name for yourself in a place where the multiverse’s most powerful entities meet to do business. What path to multiversal glory will you set? Disclaimers: Please read before booking. -Know your character and their capabilities. Have an idea of what you want to do when it comes to your turn in combat. -Neither skills nor spells can be used to try and coerce another Player into something they don’t want to do. -Be mindful of your game environment's background noise. Overly loud backgrounds can pull the group from immersion and slow down the pace of combat. -Treat each other with respect. This is a collaborative game, so be flexible when it comes to group decisions. -Have fun!

About me
I enjoy the collaborative effort that comes with hosting games. I like seeing how different groups react to and handle the scenarios that I prepare for them. The entire endeavor, from prep to delivery, is a source of fulfillment. I build the scaffolding, but the Players shape the sculpture of the story.

How Charles creates a safe table
I maintain an open door policy for Players to reach out and address any concerns. My goal is that everyone at the table enjoys the time spent there, so I will listen if someone is not. If something in the story is making someone uncomfortable, I want to know so I can make appropriate adjustments. I will not accept rudeness, disrespect, nor aggression towards other Players. Also, this is a collaborative game where everyone gets a voice. No one Player should assume they are the group leader or team captain. Players may nominate others to "take the lead" in certain scenarios, but no one is in charge of anyone else.
