About the adventure

🌟 Embark on an Epic Journey in a Universe of Magic, Mystery, and Might🌟 Welcome to a thrilling Dungeons & Dragons 5E Sandbox Campaign set in Mithras. The Player's Characters shape the course of the Main Campaign. Their character growth and development take centre stage, and the villains and NPCs will be crafted to have meaningful connections with the PCs. Mithras, the land of sands, has a special connection with both the fey and the dead realm. Mighty Pyramids adorn the skyline of an empire that once was home to cities that floated much higher above in the sky, and literal gods ruled the realm as Pharaohs. But it all came crashing down one day. Cities fell from the sky, turning a green land into a desert, and the Gods soon left for the divine planes. But life moved on. However, 3000 years later, an ancient enemy has stirred again. Do you have it in you to answer the call and fight powers beyond what the contemporary world has witnessed? Mithras is located in an enthralling, epic, and immersive homebrewed setting, "Maa." Maa is an Arcane-Punk, High Fantasy Setting filled with Wonders and Dangers alike. A world with deep lore, lost civilisations, terrible creatures, political intrigue, and fascinating locations. Maa is filled with Wonders and Dangers alike. A world with deep lore, lost civilisations, terrible creatures, political intrigue, and fascinating locations. The setting is flexible and welcoming for both seasoned adventurers and newcomers, offering them ease of comfort as well as fluid complexity while encouraging creativity. 🛡️ Fearless Heroes Needed: Evil Cults, Otherworldly Evil, Mischievous Fey, and Terrifying Monsters await heroes who are ready to go toe to toe with death every waking hour of their adventures. 🔥 Face Your (Inner) Demons and Other Threats: Prepare for a journey through a perilous landscape where chaos and lawlessness still ravage outside the civilised walls of the cities. Or are they already inside? Charge into epic battles, unearth dark secrets, and destroy the malevolent powers that seek to bring ruin to the prosperity of these lands. Or would you rather join them? Your courage and cunning will determine the fate of the lands you will roam. 🏞️ Explore a Dynamic World: Embark on a journey that may lead you to the mighty Pyramids, the Ruins of Fallen Cities, the Deep Halls of Lost Temples, the narrow Alleys of the Urban Landscape, the Dangerous Monsters hidden in dunes and dungeons, the Draconic peaks of Amm Abis, and the hidden colonies of Giants in the valleys. Every step of your expedition offers opportunities for heroism, treasure, and quests. Forge alliances with legendary factions, solve ancient mysteries, expose political plots, and immerse yourself in the deep, rich lore of a world you have never experienced before.

About me

I am a dungeon master with 6 years of experience including numerous one-shots, official and unofficial modules, and custom campaigns completed. As a storyteller, I love the idea of collective storytelling and I love the challenge of creating a malleable plot and setup that allows players to do anything with it. I was in love with the ideas of TTRPGs long before I knew they existed. I used to play make-believe games when I was 5 and the daydreaming never stopped. It just found a medium when I discovered D&D and I have been developing my own system as well. My group of friends and I have been playing together for more than 2 years despite being in different countries and we stream it on Twitch as well. LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming to all people. I can't wait to play with new people and see what they bring to my table.

Character creation

Creating your character

â–ş The character creation will happen before the first session, aka during a collective or individual zero session. â–ş All official core and supplementary D&D "CLASSIC 5e (2014)" material is allowed. Players can reconfirm with the GM. â–ş The DM will offer needed material if players do not have access to any official Core or Supplementary Rulebook. â–ş Players are not allowed to bring any kind of Homebrew Material. â–ş The DM will help personally to create the Character Sheet and will provide a PDF copy if the players can't build one themselves.

The current party

• The game uses D&D 5e14 rulesets mostly. Additionally, the game will use certain Optional rules from core D&D 5e14 books and certain homebrew rules to make combat more fun, sleek, efficient, and quick. These rules will be provided in the Discord Server. • The game is set in an unofficial setting called Maa, but the setting draws heavy inspirations from Faerun, Eberron, Ravnica, and Exandria, as well apart from providing a unique flavor of its own. Players can learn more about the setting from the Dungeon master and create characters accordingly. • We will be rolling stats for the campaign. Rules for rolling are provided in the Discord Server. Players will start at level 5. They will get three potions of healing, 100 gold pieces, and a choice to select an uncommon item along with starting equipment for their character. • The tone at the table will have shades of humor to keep off table environment light and breezy. • Players are expected to respect other players at the Table. Bigotry and targeted hypocrisy would not be allowed. • Communication is key, players must talk with each other and make decisions as a team.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

â–ş Must have a good functioning mic â–ş Using a webcam is encouraged to make the game and roleplay more immersive, and engaging, and for the ease of social cues. â–ş Players must acquaint themselves with the additional rules provided by the GM on Discord Server. â–ş Players are not required to be pre-familiar with D&D rules, but they must have a concise and well-thought-out character concept and background story within reason.
