đź’€Tomb of Annihilationđź’€ | Levels 1-12 | 2024/14
Deep in the jungle lies the Temple of Annihilation—ancient, cursed, and hungry. Those who enter seek glory, but few return, and none escape unchanged.
About the adventure
Something is wrong with the world. The dead can no longer be raised. Those who were once resurrected begin to wither. A curse grips the land—a slow, creeping death that drains souls and mocks the divine. All signs point to Chult, a mysterious jungle peninsula shrouded in ancient secrets and teeming with danger. Dinosaurs roam forgotten ruins. Undead prowl the dark underbrush. Lost gods whisper from behind broken shrines. And deep beneath it all, a tomb waits—hungry, cursed, and alive. Gather your courage, brave adventurer. You'll need more than steel and spells to survive this expedition. This is not a simple dungeon crawl. This is a race against death itself. Explore. Endure. Uncover the Source. Hold back the dead. Will you uncover the truth behind the Soulmonger, or will your name be added to the countless bones swallowed by the jungle? Recommended for 4–6 players, levels 1–12 A lethal, exploration-heavy campaign of survival horror, ancient lore, and deadly puzzles!

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi, my name is Kan, and I love writing, reading and playing fantasy games. I have over ten years of experience playing roleplaying games and have been an active member in the D&D community for five years now. I study Creative Writing and English Literature at the University of Leeds in the UK and I'm the president of the DiceSoc (TTRPG Society) where we run weekly games for our members to enjoy. I consider myself very patient, flexible and accommodating to both new and experienced players, and love teaching the world of D&D. Aside from being a DM, I am a lover of writing and poetry, which I include in games as my way to freshen up puzzles and lore.

Kan is an amazing DM that balances their players enjoyment with realim while giving each player their moments. Their descriptions and visuals are well articulated, great mood music to match the moment, and a player focused naritve. Kan is also DM that likes to challenge their players while still being new player friendly. They do a great job of creating space for a diverse aray of players and play styles.
Kan is an excellent gamemaster, who is deeply involved in making the players an integral part of their campaigns. The amount of work and passion they put into each session really shows every step of the way, and they are willing to work with every player to integrate their own vision of their character into the game. Can't recommend Kan's table enough!
Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be handled in session 0, and details of specific house rules will be explained alongside. My house rules use an alternative stat generation method, hit point calculation, attunement slots, to name a few of the changes to your normal 5e game. The full extend of these changes can be found in the house rules section of our discord server. Roll For Stats— With A Twist Roll two sets of stats using the command 4d6kh3ro1, ignoring any 1s. Choose either set to assign to your abilities. Some players prefer to roll first and let the stats determine their race and class. Free Feat At Level 1 Players get a free feat at level 1, encouraging character-specific feats. Variant Human race or Tasha's custom origin feat are excluded from this rule. Origin feats granted by 2024 rules also exclude character creation with this rule. Customise your Origin I will never force you to restrict your character's abilities by your racial ability scores. You can choose via Tasha's ruling to distribute three scores with +1 or two scores, one with +2 and another +1. Allowed Content We will be prioritising 2024 content over 2014, however it is still permitted. All official content is permitted, if I don't own the content that you wish to use, all I ask is that you share with me what features you're using so that I can familiarise myself with it. Homebrew is only allowed in homebrew games and only if the entire party reach a consensus on its incorporation. This includes my own homebrew optional rules and content. You Take Starting Gold And Equipment. This is to help the characters at the beginning. I make every class start with gold equal to 5d4*5 (a maximum of 100 extra, a minimum of 20 extra) in addition to the starting equipment granted by their class. You're Better Than Average Roll for HP but use your average as a base line. If you roll below the average for your class, you take average. If not, good for you!

Homebrew rules
Crunchy Crits Natural 20s should feel deadly, both in the players favor and mine (muahaha). Therefore I utilise Crunchy Crits. - Roll your damage dice for your attack plus your modifiers. - Now take the total possible damage you could have dealt with those dice, and add it to the total damage. These are not considered dice rolled. For example A fighter with 20 strength using a +1 longsword wielded in two hands will Roll 1d10+6+10 dealing a minimum of 17 points of damage, and a maximum of 26 - A Crunchy Crit includes ALL damage dice that are added to a singular attack, so this includes a Smite, Aura buffs and concentration additions like Hex or Hunters Mark. - Spells that specify additional effects when you roll the maximum on a damage die (such as the 2024 Chromatic orb bouncing to a new creature) do not trigger from the additional damage from a critical hit. - Rolling 3 crits in a row sends you to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. You remain in jail for a number of rounds until you roll a nat one on a d20 test. A friend can pay a 50 GP fine to have you released. Whilst in jail, any further natural 20 is considered a natural 1. (This is a joke rule that players can decide to include)
