Hi, I'm Arun and I have been playing tabletop games for years now, mostly DnD but also decent stints in Call of Cthulhu and Cyberpunk RED. I've recently started DMing but I think that I have enough experience at this point to call myself decent enough. I have a detailed homebrew world built, maybe too detailed for my own good, but I also own a few modules that I'd be interested in running. I would say that I have a good balance of roleplay and combat, with tough but fair fights that I try to make more intuitive and cinematic than 'run up and hit the guy'. I like realism insofar as it enhances the experience i.e. elemental spells interact with the environment in ways that make sense but you won't be dealing with hunger and thirst mechanics. However, the most important thing for me is tailoring my DMing around my players and making sure they are getting what they want out of the game!

GM Style

I'm an avid roleplayer and enjoy injecting emotion and character into every NPC I play. I have a few voices (of varying quality) that I use just for fun and character differentiation. I try my best to have connected and sensical worldbuilding and in my homebrew games I try my best to have large overarching plots with many different hooks for players to chase and piece together. I try to make combats challenging and tactical affairs, though in the end I will always choose things in favour of player enjoyment (for example, enemies will not attack downed characters unless it would completely strain realism for that to happen).
