About the adventure
This game is based on a low magicka, fantasy realm known as Desira. It plays as a high realistic game, with gameplay focus on player choices, world interactions and choice consequences. This game utilizes a success/fail system originating from the D6 system. See below for the introduction to the world history of Desira. Desira began almost four millennia ago when the first Arca Master walked the land. This being, one higher than all others, was merely average before being given a special connection to a passage called The Arca, a book containing every Magicka spell in existence. It is said that even those gifted enough to control Magicka are limited to one Magicka tree; but the Arca Master, a mighty mage and ruler of Magicka with The Arca in hand, has the capability to control all Magicka. But this ability is only through the Arca and must be passed down every Millennium, for a ruler is only as strong as their tenure. Many wonder about the creation of the Arca and if its mere presence was enough to form life around it. It is widely believed that the Arca was the precursor to deities, and so The Arca, a mere book, can be seen as a Deity itself.

About me
I am a Canadian actor studied in Theater Performance. I originally got into Tabletop Roleplay during college and have been playing ever since. From trying a bunch of different systems during college, I landed on a homebrew of the D6 system (basically we only roll six sided dice). I find it's easy for new players to learn and allows for the most malleable character creation. I have a focus on roleplaying and run a Sandbox Dungeon Master style (that is where my players play in the world and I'm just along for the ride). I'm really looking for players who are wanting to have a fun experience and commit to the characters that they create. I prefer play on Tabletop Simulator for the 3D miniatures as well as voice over discord. Write your own story! Can't wait to meet you!

Creating your character
How character creation works is it would be a 4 hr total session, the first two hours being creating the character sheet and working out the game mechanics for the player's pursued character. The second two hours would be working the character's backstory with the GM, improvising how the character fits into the world while establishing the core principles important to the player for the character.

How Jesse, The Elder creates a safe table
This game is centered around the open door policy. Although there will be a Session 0 to review any potential triggers or vulnerabilities, it's also important to understand that being able to identify a triggering scene in the moment is a possibility. I as the GM will maintain the party peace to ensure the game is a fun experience for everyone involved and to avoid any negative experiences. Open feedback and communication is an important process to ensure that all party members are heard and feel respected.
