About the adventure
You're spirited away by a suffocating mist, ending up in a land shrouded by darkness and cruelty, known as the fallen kingdom of Barovia. This land, abandoned by the Morninglord and the Mother Night is ruled over by the cruel vampiric tyrant known as Strahd Von Zarovich. You're trapped here, among the tortured and the undead, and must find a way to uncover the mysteries of the kingdom and pierce through the mist and escape with your lives. 🎨 This campaign is completely drawn custom. I draw the maps, make the unique stat blocks, draw the special NPCs and more! 🎨 Every player will get a custom drawn sketched token after the first session, a fully coloured one after the fifth session attended, and a fully rendered token after the tenth session! AI is never allowed at this table, as human creativity is valued first! 🩸 Curse of Strahd is a Dark Fantasy / Medieval Gothic adventure where horrors lurk around every corner, and morality is tested as Barovia bares its fangs! 🩸 This adventure spans the levels of 4-12! 🩸 Engage in combat and exploration friendly for beginners and veterans alike! Hey there! I'm Dandy and I've been a DM for over eight years now, exploring all sorts of systems. At the moment, I'm specializing in Dungeons and Dragons 5e and World of Darkness. I love making lore-heavy games with intensive and deep world-building, deep roleplays and opportunities for character growth, interaction and development. I am a transmasculine freelance artist and illustrator as well, having many years of experience in both artwork and character design and creation. Creating your character
Characters are created individually for the campaign on D&D BEYOND. I will work with all concepts to integrate them into the world and story. I will work with players individually in the creation of their characters and help them if needed so they can be approved. For this campaign, you will begin at level four. This campaign typically goes up to level 10, but this may go up all the way to 12 depending on the actions of players! Official D&D content is preferred for character creation, with flavor to design given exceptions. I can make exceptions as well to make your character come to life! We are using 2024 rules, but 2014 is allowed!

You will need: Access to Discord Access to D&D Beyond Access to Foundry VTT A working microphone Please create a character, and work with me so we can integrate them into the world! A paid session zero is required to participate.
What Dandy brings to the table
I draw most of the maps, I also offer commission services to players if they wish their characters to be drawn. I provide artwork and assets, the digital books and links and all assistance needed to learn the game, and to help ease you into the game and setting. I always want my players to shine the most, embracing action over rules for the most part. I am story and world-building first! I prioritize character growth and engagement, where all actions matter! Being a member of the LGBTQIA+, my campaigns are always welcome to everyone from every walk of life! This is a safe space.

How Dandy creates a safe table
We will go over the Session Zero, table rules and expectations at the beginning of the campaign, and at the end of every session I'll offer player feedback and request DM feedback as well. I will do my best so that we will all be on the same page, and remain comfortable and transparent. I do not allow AI imagery. If you ABSOLUTELY MUST use AI imagery, I will suggest using artist-furled image generation such as Picrew or Heroforge instead. AI is not allowed. This campaign may cover various uncomfortable topics. Please if you're interested in attending this campaign, understand that by joining this campaign, you consent in being mature with these topics, and to handle them in character and to also understand that they are being handled delicately as fictional content. Riding off of this, you must understand that the actions and beliefs of characters are not congruent to the beliefs and actions of the players who control them.
