About the adventure
The Hero is dead. The Princess is forgotten. Across a thousand timelines, stories fray like old thread—unfinished, abandoned, or never told at all. You are not the Hero of Time. You are not the Princess of Hyrule. You are a might-have-been—a Rito swordsman who died mid-flight, a Zora queen who drowned her gods, a Gerudo rebel who lost her war before it began. From every corner of the multiverse, the Temple of Time has called you together: not to fulfill prophecy, but to decide whether it still matters. The Triforce is shattered. The gods are silent. The land does not cry for a savior—it no longer believes one will come. But something ancient still stirs beneath Hyrule’s bones. A final echo. A last chance. Will you redeem your lost legend? Or become something new? 🎯 What This Campaign Is 🔸 A level 1–10 Zelda-inspired adventure set after the collapse of time itself 🔸 A mythic, character-driven campaign where each PC is a failed or forgotten alternate-universe Link or Zelda 🔸 A story about second chances, fractured prophecy, and rewriting the meaning of courage and wisdom 🔸 A blend of dark fantasy, mythic exploration, and emotional storytelling 🧭 What You’ll Do 🔹 Awaken in a broken Temple of Time with only echoes of your past and a whisper of purpose 🔹 Travel across a fragmented Hyrule stitched from dying timelines 🔹 Face monsters born from failed stories, challenge the structure of legend, and discover what role you play in a tale with no center 🕯️ What Makes It Special ✴️ You’ll play as a unique version of Link or Zelda—from a timeline where the cycle failed ✴️ Your character’s “death” or erasure is part of your backstory—and part of what drives the journey ✴️ The campaign explores themes of legacy, choice, and the freedom to define your own myth ✴️ Every dungeon, artifact, and region draws from twisted memories of Zelda lore—familiar yet hauntingly altered 🧝 Character Creation 🪶 Use standard D&D 5E ancestries, reflavored to represent Zelda universe races (e.g., Elves as Rito, Tritons as Zora, Tieflings as Sheikah-cursed, etc.) 🪶 Create an alternate-universe Link or Zelda—a version from a timeline where things went wrong 🪶 Your character is not “the chosen one”—you are an echo, a remnant, a final chance 🪶 No Zelda knowledge required—your version of the legend is yours to invent This is a campaign about fractured destinies, the ghosts of unfinished stories, and the power of chosen identity. Will you reclaim your legend? Or will Hyrule forget you again?

Creating your character
🔸 Each player will start by creating a Level 1 character—an alternate-universe incarnation of Link or Zelda. 🔹 It’s optional to prepare characters beforehand; guidance and support will be available on our Discord channel. 🔸 Players will choose races, classes, and backgrounds that reflect their version’s lost timeline, unique fate, and heroic flaws. 🔹 Special attention will be given to each character’s origin, appearance, and tragic or forgotten legacy, which we’ll explore before and during Session 1.

No XP tracking required. - Roleplay and character development are emphasized over min-maxing. 🧬 Suggested Zelda Race Equivalents (Feel Free to Reskin or Customize!) 🦅 Rito → Aarakocra, Owlin, or Kenku (reflavored with speech) 🐟 Zora → Triton, Water Genasi, or Sea Elf 🪨 Goron → Goliath, Earth Genasi, or Firbolg (stone-themed) 🧍♂️ Hylian → Human, Elf, Half-Elf, or Variant Human 🌵 Gerudo → Genasi (Fire/Air), Tiefling (reflavored), or Human with custom traits 🔹 These are only starting points—if you have a vision for a forest Zelda who is part dryad, or a Link who was raised in the Twilight Realm, bring it! Let’s make it work.
