About the adventure
Welcome to Tyranny of Dragons revamped- a classic Dungeons & Dragons adventure with a new twist! About me
Hi! I'm William and I've been a dungeon master for 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons for over three years now! I typically play homebrew campaigns, but also run modules as well! My goal in any game is to match the experience to the players so that each one of them has a session that lets them shine individually, as well as encouraging and rewarding the heart of the game: teamwork! I love good roleplay in my games but I am also quite familiar with tactical combat, making each character feel integral to the game! I look forward to playing with you all!

Creating your character
Character creation will be handled in a session 0, so that everyone can work together to make a cohesive party! Shared backstories are encouraged! Tyranny of Dragons: Revamped uses the 2024 cure rules, with expanded content spells allowed. Characters will start at level 10.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This campaign will be played using Discord and Foundry via The Forge. You will need a discord account and a free forge account to do so. Character sheets will be made on D&Dbeyond.
What William brings to the table
As a DM I encourage roleplaying and storytelling, as well as tactical combat that rewards all kinds of player builds! I am very reactionary, and tend to let my players drive the story forward. I do play by the rules, but when the time calls for it I do tend to use the rule of cool!

How William creates a safe table
Upon admission to the campaign, I will send out a game expectation sheet where you can write down your expectations, lines and veils, and at-the-table concerns. X, N, and O cards will be done digitally on discord. Sessions will have a 10-15 minute break.
