About the adventure

After graduating from spelljammer academy, our crew have taken to the stars and are exploring the astral sea in search of the generals of a mysterious crime syndicate, and missing classmates that were abducted during an ambush. A mysterious cube is in their possession and nobody really knows what it does. Either way Vocath and his syndicate, as well as some others want it. There are 5 faces left to unlock with 5 different locations holding the key to its secrets. Set sail on the astral sea for Ravenloft, Limbo, Khorvaire, and more in the search for answers to the most important question. "What does this bloody cube do?"

About me

Hey! I’m Mike — a laid-back UK-based DM (GMT) who loves wild ideas, emotional moments, and just the right amount of chaos. Like a lot of folks, I got into D&D during the pandemic by binging actual play shows — and I’ve been hooked ever since. Now I run games where storytelling leads the way, and the players (or their dice) shape everything that happens next. My style is all about collaboration — you bring the weird ideas, I’ll try and help make them epic. My tables are beginner-friendly, low-pressure, and perfect for players who care more about having fun than memorizing rules. Whether you’re into goofy antics, heartfelt arcs, or both, I’ve got you covered. New to D&D? Casual player who just wants a good time? You’re welcome at my table. Let’s build something memorable and really flex those great character ideas you're brewing up! Currently I have 10 campaigns running including Spelljammer, Witchlight, Crooked Moon, with some homebrew thrown in for fun. Looking forward to adding another one to the rotation pretty soon, so feel free to drop a message if there's a particular setting you're interested in. If you've any questions at all don't hesitate to drop me a message!

Character creation

Creating your character

Start at Level 1 Roll for stats (roll 4 and drop the lowest) Official 5E sources allowed (PHB, Tasha’s, Xanathar’s, Spelljammer, etc.) Homebrew allowed if it makes sense narratively Bring any character from across the multiverse — or invent your own world! Premade characters available for players who want to jump right in. We can finalise during session zero if needed or you can message me to bounce ideas off.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Just bring yourself and your character! Have a think about why your character is at the academy and why they want to explore the multiverse.

What Mike brings to the table

Using DND beyond maps as a VTT and discord for chat. Expect a mix of character-driven roleplay, thrilling space missions, tactical (but fast-paced) combat, and surprising multiversal discoveries. While the story has serious moments, the overall tone is adventurous and upbeat. Player creativity, collaboration, and flexible problem-solving are encouraged!
