About the adventure
DRAKKENHEIM IS NO MORE. An eldritch storm of falling stars devastated the city on that woeful eve, leaving behind a meteorite that would have lasting effects. Fifteen years later, Drakkenheim is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artefacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins. However, even those who survive the dangers of Drakkenheim might not return unmarked by its terrors!

About me
Hello, My Discord Handle is Zxpie. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I've been an on-and off-GM for many years now, with a focus on individualistic storytelling and module modification, which is a fancy way of saying I take a bunch of unrelated module adventures and cramming them together into some semblance of a cohesive story and try and take the time to customize individual B-plot stories for each and every one of my players...with some by the numbers combat thrown in for extra flavor.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
We will use the standard 2024 Players' Handbook and D&D Beyond character creation rules. Players will create characters on D&D Beyond, and they will be imported to the Foundry VTT server for play during the game. All characters will start as first-level characters and advance according to Milestone rules during the game. The game is set in Forgotten Realms and is along the sword cost and within and around the village of Phandalin. Character Backgrounds Extra gold and magic items are up for grabs for those who turn in detailed backstories that also tie into other players' backstories. But this will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
at this time, the party is wide open.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have a stable internet connection, access to Discord, a solid pair of headphones, and a suitable microphone. Knowledge of Dnd 5e is good, but not required.
What Zxpie brings to the table
I will be bringing a fully prepared module adventure, with custom maps, tokens, and content from Foundry Vtt and D&D Beyond. I do character voices, and custom A.i. art when I can find the time, and in general will use liberal use of the Rule of Cool. I also expect players to have fun, follow the rules of conduct, and keep open and honest communication between myself and the other players.
Homebrew rules
None at this time.

RPG Consent Checklist: All players will be given a fillable check list of all things they want or do not want to see in the game and must fill it out and return it before session One (1), [Two (2) under strange circumstances…. or they just forgot, but definitely before Session three and whole plot is already locked in]shared story. This includes making characters that are fun for you and the rest of the group to play with. • Rules Debates: Brief rules discussions are fine, but the GM's ruling is final to keep the game moving. We can always discuss a ruling in more detail after the session. • Metagaming: Please do not use your out-of-character knowledge to have your character make decisions they wouldn't make. Let the story unfold naturally for everyone. Character & Story • Player Agency: You always have control over your character's choices and actions. • Character Creation: You can use any official materials the GM owns. If you want something from a book the GM doesn't have, please provide a copy. Make a character who cares, at least a little, about the world and the party. • Player Input: Session 0 is the time to express what you want from the game. The GM will try to include player backstories and plot ideas, but this may take time. However, if the GM gives a firm "No" on a character or plot concept, that decision is final. • Character Death: Death is a real possibility, especially if you take on impossible challenges. If a character dies, the group may be able to go on a quest to bring them back. A Note on AI Use The GM uses AI tools for brainstorming, editing, and generating inspirational images. These tools are paid for with game funds and help polish the final product. The core story, world, and all original concepts are the GM's own work. Content Submission Any characters, stories, or content you create for the game remain your intellectual property. You grant the GM a license to use that content for the purposes of running this campaign and chronicling its events. ________________________________________ If you have any questions or want to add anything to this guide, please bring it up! Let's make this a great game together.
