About the adventure

High in the jagged reaches of the Spinecrag Mountains lies a remote town carved from stone and perseverance. It clings to the edge of the world like a candle guttering in a storm, surrounded by snow, silence, and secrets buried deeper than its mines. Here, life is harsh but proud. The townsfolk depend on stone walls, old oaths, and the strength of a few brave defenders to survive the unforgiving cold—and each other. Recently, something has begun to stir beneath the earth. Whispers of strange lights in the caves, livestock found eviscerated near untouched snowbanks, and the ever-present, pulsing hum that some claim to hear at night—all of it feels like a storm just beyond the horizon. But when the first horned beast stepped from a blood-red tear in the sky and tore through the valley, the storm became a siege. You are strangers, mercenaries, pilgrims, or survivors. However you arrived, fate has rooted you in this town’s final chapter. The gates may still hold, but the snow grows darker each night, and fire alone may not be enough to keep the demons at bay.
