About the adventure
An introductory style adventure to learn and fall in love with Darrington Press's new TTRPG Daggerheart. Inspired by late 90's and early 2000's video game RPGS and anime, we'll learn how Daggerheart characters work, how the campaigns and stories are framed, and have a great time while doing it! If fighting dastardly pirates and defending your freedom against monolithic empires is your cup o' swill, then this is the game for you.

About me
I've been playing and storytelling for 30+ years, first with some DnD box sets and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've played or run most systems that have seen the light of a basement lamp. I prefer more player-forward systems that let everyone at the table have a strong say in the narrative, but focused tactical games have their place on the table, too! I've been running games professionally(re:Paid by real humans) for 2 years now, and have a pretty good track record.

Creating your character
Daggerheart works best when everyone is on collaboration. We'll have a session 0 about story and theme. And we'll work on character concepts there. It's a snappy fun creation process, so not too much time will be taken up before we get to play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I'll be using Discord and Roll20, possibly a few other ways to communicate and access materials.
What Gabe Rosas brings to the table
My games are best described as controlled chaos. I love taking our time seriously while embracing 4-th wall breaks and zany ideas. As Daggerheart is a game about the story, the game will excel with players who are invested, but that doesn't mean everyone has to bring production level voice acting and improv skills. Be here, have fun, and we'll all enjoy the journey.

How Gabe Rosas creates a safe table
As this works towards being a paid campaign, I hope everyone acts politely and 'mature'. I am very open to conversations about behavior and listen before judging. X-card style play is assumed, but how that works will be part of session 0 (is it a button on the VTT, is it a private message to me, is it saying something in voice chat).
