About the adventure
You've been entrusted by the king with a magically sealed crate to deliver to the Whitefire Arcanist, deep within the ancient Sablewood. The Sablewood is filled with equal parts wonder and danger, can your party overcome its perils and fulfil your charge? The Sablewood Messengers is the introductory adventure for Daggerheart, the new system from Critical Role! Daggerheart takes familiar elements from DND 5E and iterates on them by: 🗡️ Removing initiative and making combat more fluid 🗡️ Promoting collaboration between players and GM - it's OUR story! 🗡️ Putting the narrative first, be it bold moves or character moments Every roll should drive the story forwards, so strap in and prepare for adventure!

Hi, I'm Ruairidh (pronounced roo-ree), and I've been a GM for 7 years! I started in 5E but have grown to love a variety of systems and settings. I love how inclusive the TTRPG community is, which is something I strive to emulate! Pregenerated charactrers will be made available, and in case I haven't sold you yet, one of them is a frog boi 🐸 I would recommend signing up to demiplane to access the pregens for free but PDFs will also be available!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To participate, you'll need to - 🌱 Join the Discord server (link will be sent after booking) 🌱 Join the Roll20 game 🌱 Have a decent microphone set up 🌱 Have a quiet space to play in 🌱 Come prepared to collaborate with your fellow players and bring your ideas to life at the table! A camera is not mandatory but really helps with roleplaying.
