Rumors have started to trickle from the Rocky Mountains, crossing the Great Divide and spreading throughout the Great Plains. A vast fortune, hidden from view since the bombs fell. However, you are not the only one, as vanguards from the Legion have been reported, searching for a way to turn the tide against the NCR once and for all. +Tactical Combat awaits, use your abilities to turn the tide of battle! +Deep role-play possibilities, interact with a diverse fully voice acted cast of characters, enemies, and allies! +A wide open sandbox awaits for your party to leave their mark! Will you recover this treasure, or find a tomb among the high peaks, ruthless passes, and picturesque valleys?

About me
Hi, I'm Josh, and I've got over 10 years of acting and improv experience under my belt, as well as four years of stand-up comedy, and I love to roll with the punches and make sure that my players get to enjoy THEIR story! I've been roleplaying since I was a kid, and have been running games as the GM for the last five years, and I love nothing more than a fun adventure with twists and turns and engaging characters. Everything I run comes straight from the imagination, no AI generation or language learning models here to get in the way of a good time. I manage a production company in Wyoming that specializes in horror and comedy films, and we run a yearly independent film festival in Cheyenne! Let's hang out, roll some dice, and take your characters to new worlds and settings!

Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Sets the Mood
Knows the Rules
This GM creates a safe and inclusive space where every player feels valued and heard, making sure every player is included and seen. With a deep understanding and respect for neurodivergence, they tailor the experience to support diverse ways of playing and thinking. Their storytelling is captivating and weaves an immersive narrative that pulls the player in and sparks player creativity. Most importantly, this GM encourages and celebrates player creativity and player agency, empowering players to help shape the world and their journey within it. Whether you're crafting bold characters or exploring unexpected paths, this GM is your perfect partner in adventure.
Josh is an excellent DM that is knowledgeable enough in the rules and a good enough storyteller to know when to let the rules step aside for the story. He is always taking the little character moments we create and finding new ways to incorporate them into the world we are playing in. His game is a highlight of my week for sure.
Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will happen during the free Session 0 in Roll20, in order to build a balanced party, as well as to help new players of the system. Characters start at level 1, and players can use any origin from the Fallout 2d20 Core Book and the Settler's Guidebook.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will support the game through Discord between sessions and Roll20 during gameplay.
What Josh brings to the table
This is a sandbox style game, with quests that shape the world around you. I utilize character voices as an actor, and focus on roleplaying and combat. Primarily we will focus on Rules as Written, but with as open ended as the Fallout 2d20 system is, there will be times when Rule of Cool will come in to play for tests and checks that don't fall into the normal skill/attribute sets, as well as character interaction with the world around them.
Homebrew rules
The campaign itself is a homebrew setting, and there will be items, armor, and NPCs built outside of the three current rulebooks, as well as overhauled injuries from critical hits.

How Josh creates a safe table
I will have a detailed list of Lines and Veils available during and after Session 0. Each session will end with a discussion on what transpired, as well as breaks at the halfway point of every session. Please feel free to message any X, N, & O's to me directly as well as using them in the Roll20 VTT, and we can adjust the games as needed. Given that the Fallout setting is very mature, there will be an attempt to bring levity to intense situations, and players are more than welcome to inject humor into the scenarios.
