About the adventure
What is a deal? A contract forged in infernal flame. A binding — unbreakable & unforgettable. And the one who holds the fine print. What do they gain? Your home? Your life? Or your soul. The House of Hope beckons those who have signed in blood. And you — you are its next guest. ----------------------------------------------------------------- This shall be either an epic weekly Wednesday evening (7pm ET) campaign set within the Forgotten Realms, specifically inspired by Baldur's Gate 3. This campaign will not run concurrently with the events of the game, set after the Battle of the Absolute. PCs shall begin at level 5 & shall level at certain milestones.

About me
Omega Jones, also known as CritBard, is a professional actor and vocalist from the Midwest. A proud member of Actor's Equity Association, he had a focus on live musical theatre & performance until he switched to being a full time content creator on Twitter & Twitch. Creating your character
Character Creation shall happen before we start our session. D&D Beyond shall be our primary character sheet source. You will be placed into a campaign that grants access to all DDB content. RULES FOR CHARACTER CREATION: (a note, we will mostly be 2014 based) — Roll for Stats, rolling 4d6 and keeping 3. Do this seven times and pick the best six. — All Official 5e content is allowed / NO WARLOCKS* — Max HP — If your background does not provide a feat, take one. — MAGIC ITEMS: 1 rare, 1 uncommon, 1 common. *no PC shall be a Warlock of Raphael. Instead, each PC shall be given a personalized Pact Boon to mechanically showcase your connection to the Archdevil. More details shall be explained once you join!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need a webcam and working mic without audio issues. Please have a firm understanding of D&D 5e and how it works. You must have DDB account & a Roll20 account. — we will also be utilizing the Beyond20 extension for Firefox and Chrome for dice rolls.
What Omega brings to the table
Roll20 maps shall be utilized. I will have an extensive knowledge of D&D 5e to facilitate the storytelling of the game. Voice acting experience shall add to the immersive roleplaying of the game.
Homebrew rules
Potions: Potions you take yourself are a bonus action. Administering your potion to another is a full action. Crits: I honor ALL Natural 1s and Natural 20s and the outcome will depend on the circumstance. During combat, if you roll a Natural 20 on a hit, you will max out ANY rolled dice first — then you will roll said dice & add your modifier. Example. If you roll 2d8+4 for damage, you will do 16 automatically, then roll the 2d8 & add the 4 afterwards.

How Omega creates a safe table
This game will be high stakes and, as the main throughline is the infernal contract signed by the players & a powerful Archdevil, the game will feature a lot of manipulation, power play, and mental anguish. Excessive gore shall not be present but the notion of death or harm will be present as well.
