Hi 👋 I'm glad you're here. My name is Jesse Scott and in grade school my nickname was Messy Snot. I never minded because I thought it was funny too. I don't think it is anymore, so please just call me Jesse. Oh, and my pronouns are He/Him. I am a Gen X-er who was raised on 2e during the Satanic Panic, though I took a long time off of TTRPGs until maybe 2014 or so when I picked it up again, and was reminded of how much I love it. I have been a Professional GM and GMing at Cons for ~ two years, and have since run games for kids and adults, friends and strangers, and I do my best to provide a safe and democratic space at the table for everyone. Fun fact: I am also in the midst of publishing my first adventure module on DriveThruRPG and Itch... I'm really excited to make more!

Creating your character
Character creation will happen either just before or in the early stages of the adventure - not to worry, it is speedy, and you're character will probably die very quickly, so don't get too attached! (jk)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord (required) and Owlbear Rodeo (no account required). Stable internet is a must, as is a working microphone - video is optional, but encouraged! Character generation procedures - which are quick! - will be provided once the session is confirmed. Flooded Ruins is a short adventure, so we will have time to review SD rules, talk about where and how your characters can spend their ill-gotten gains afterwards, and I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the system, setting, theme, style, afterwards!

How Jesse Scott creates a safe table
BEFORE I will facilitate a Lines and Veils discussion on Discord before the adventure starts (and which will be reviewed live on video before we start playing). DURING Breaks will be taken as needed, and X/N/O cards will be employed. AFTER Stars and Wishes will be conducted, either live or in chat on Discord.
